Low yield monos

trying to get a bit of insight. I've done ten 86 qt monos that only yielded about a pound dry.each tote had nice large Canopys but the yeild was horrible im guessing its the genetics of these cubes they are golden teacher. Transfered to oats from agar then to coir. I do have new totes of Brazil started im hoping my yields go up alot more.
Just curious what some peoples yields are with similar totes.

I ditched my GT genetics I was playing with earlier this year. Horrible yields.

Thats what I was worried about not a high yielding genetic. Was wondering if others ran into this. Guess so lol

A pound from how many quarts of spawn?
Some are just thicker than others, as long as you’re getting good pinsets and healthy fruits all you can really do is work on finding better genetics. Or maybe drop the temperature to make them denser.
As long as the total yield is there I don’t mind how it happens anymore.

Agreed. Total biological efficiency is what you’re after. If you’re hitting 200-250%BE total that’s pretty good regardless of the size of container you use. Once you’re pulling that try and get that much in one flush is the next level. That’s going to require some serious agar work to find those genetics but once found, they can be very rewarding.

so 3 quart jars went into one tub so at 10 tubs that would be 30 quarts. and if i drop the temperature in that room anymore itll snow lmao i do have some new brazilian genetics im excited for. this is 3 plates of agar that ive transfered to jars last week.url=http://files.shroomery.org/files/20-33/725892969-20200729_152359.jpg] [/url]

i should have noted that the yeild was from 10 ......86quart totes FIRST FLUSH.
i dont allow my totes to go into a second flush because they get put back into production..... a second flush would put me weeks behind its easier to dump and refill the tote with fresh spawn then back to colonization.

That does sound bad. I just calculated my own yield this summer, which is about 0.8pounds dry (3.8kg wet) from 16half pints so like 8 quarts? this was all in pretty much 30C I think I have decent genetics in these ecuadors

This doesn't sound very efficient to me...

Yeah somethings not right unless they were all the same culture.
Even 25oz after the first flush would be low.

might not be to you. but my system wont allow for a second flush by the time my first flush is over the next set of jars are colonized and ready to go into totes.

ya they all came from the same plate so its probably shitty genetics i mean they are powerfull as all hell and major bruising takes place within 6 seconds of cutting them so they are very potent but they are very very small lol hopefully the brazil turns out better
