Mycelium or contamination?

I inoculated 3 rye grain bags using a B+ spore syringe 4 days ago. All 3 bags now have the same kind of white, kind of fluffy looking growth visible in multiple areas. The image linked below is of one spot on the side of one of the bags, shown in the bottom left of the image. This bag has the same kind of growth visible on at least 2 other sides as well.

It's the right color, but I'm thinking it's some kind of contaminant because of the spotty growth in different areas of the grain inside of the bag as well as the kind of fluffy appearance (which may be hard to see in the picture). At the same time, I'm thinking that since I injected the spores into the center of the bags rather than against a wall, the solution might have been able to trickle down to different areas and that could be a plausible explanation for mycelium growth in different areas. I haven't been able to find anything online that looks particularly close to this. Thoughts?

I am no expert but it is really hard to tell much from that 1 photo alone. Mycelium will often colonize some areas before others, with the bottom of the container coming last (in jars at least). White and fluffy could just be your mycelium. I have had mycelium that looked more "cloud like" and some that starts looking stringy and turns more rhizomorphic than fluffy cloud looking.
I'd have to see more pictures to give an honest opinion, and many other people here could tell much better than I could. That being said, I think at this point you just have to chill and wait and see what happens. If that is just some mycelium getting started you will know it within days and I imagine the same goes for contaminants. By Saturday it will have been a week or a little more and you will have a better idea. If you are not sure by then post again with more pics =)

Awesome, yeah as I was posting this I was thinking to myself that I'll probably have to give it time to know for sure anyway. Because it's from the same syringe and the bags are all from the same vendor, and all the growth in the three bags looks exactly the same, I'm completely unsure. Thank you for your input and I will post updates in a few more days!

You take a risk with inoculation directly from syringe on grains. It`s usually asking for trouble. 4 days isn`t a time, you have to be patient. Liquid distributes in the bag, and where the spores want to mate, they do Just wait one more week, post another picture then.

Update 8/14/20:
It's been a few more days now and the growth in all three bags is definitely mycelium. Here is a picture of the same part of the same bag from the original post, today:

I dont know if its me or the quality of the pic but it looks like its contammed. The grains look weird as if they are dusty, some mold looks like that. The white stuff looks like myc, but not sure if its just myc in there.

Oh yeah I can see in the picture too, I think it really is just the quality of the image because it looks normal in real life. I'll keep an eye out though

yeah, I'm a relative noob so my opinion doesn't hold much weight, but I agree it looks good and not contam'd, I see no reason to worry. Contamination is a big issue but I think my 1st grow I worried TOO much about contamination and it caused me to helicopter over the grow more than needed. Sometimes patience is better than doing something with mushrooms if things are properly prepared.
