Please note: attempting to steal hedge trimmers.
This guy's life is destroyed.
My point of discussion I like to raise:
I feel incarceration should not be allowed to be a profitable business model.

It's Louisiana. It's the United States. Why wouldn't a black man get life for stealing a gardening tool?
As for the incarceration being a profitable business, only in the USA.
You don't have to worry about it. You're across the pond.

The guy was a career criminal and his sentence isn't for merely stealing some tools

Bryant, a black man, had four previous convictions; the first being an armed robbery for which he was sentenced to 10 years hard labor in 1979.
He was later convicted of possession of stolen property in 1987, attempted forgery of a check in the amount of $150, and burglary in 1992.
He made a bad mistake, did 10 years for it, then possession of stolen property in 1987, attempted forgery of a check in the amount of $150, and burglary in 1992 -- and thats a "career criminal" that needs locking up for life?
Those are real crimes yes but, come on!

Good luck asante. This crowd thinks using a fake 20 dollar bill warrants excessive use of force, even if it leads to death, because the person had a criminal history.
Sad for real.

Ok, ok, ok. You win.
You win the King of Make Believe Crown for the week.
Nobody here said that.
-------------------- I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them. I also attack my side if I think they're wrong. People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Haha ok bud. Not gonna waste my time with you but multiple people have argued that their opinions on floyds murder have changed and that he was a violent criminal anyway.
Call me what you want, since you're a bot your opinion is meaningless

Yea, that definitely sounds like a career criminal. Do i personally think he should spend the rest of his life behind bars? No. But the question is, if he was fully aware that his next conviction would end his life, why did he continue to commit crimes?
And the bigger question is why did you lie and frame an entire thread to be about " a black man getting life in prison for stealing hedge trimmers" when he was actually sentenced to life for being a habitual offender? Why do you like to lie and race bait?
