That does not look good. I've been cutting down to 12 hours of dunk after the first flush. It is very humid where I live and the cakes don't loose much moisture. I would quarantine that one for sure. Does it smell funny? Some of these other dudes on here have a great eye for contaminates. But one thing is for sure, if its not white, its no good. And if it smells, toss it.

I’ve been doing some more research I think it might just be metabolite? It doesn’t stink and the pins on the top look like they might keep growing

The pins don't look black yet so they may be fine. Metabolites are orange yellow. That looks slimy grey from what I can see.

I would do the qtip swab test. See if it rubs off. If it does, I'd at least give it a bath to see if it can be removed. I'd quarantine and keep an eye on it after that. Give it a smell too. But not too close haha

I take it that myc was fluffy before hand? If so, it’s a common thing I’ve experienced on cakes. When the myc starts to get fluffy like that, usually around the base of the stems, it’s needing more gas FAE. When you dunk it, that fluffy myc looks exactly like that. I don’t remember if it ever reverted back for me, as it’s been a while since I’ve had that issue. But it wasn’t an actual issue.
If that was an area of fluffy mycelium, you’re good.
