Thats incredible.
the most I have pulled from a first flush was 4oz and that was wall to wall.
Now this was only a 1st gen clone, so I supose I have alot of isolating to do yet to get to the larger 1st flushes.
I can usually get 8-9 oz per tub, but it takes 2 months. flushes are usually 2-3 oz.
If i could get like 10-12 oz first flush I could totally see why chucking the tub is an option. But when your only getting 9oz total for the whole tubs life its worth keeping it for the extra time?

i'm on a 3rd flush of ape, from the tubs i spoke on earlier..

first two flushes totaled at least 10 ounces. the third flush i think i can pull at least 2 more ounces..
i spawned these the same time as my bucket-tek tubs -which all contaminated. same cultures.
bucket tubs are pictured in the background, newly filled with new cooler tek tubs; it's cousin above him is on it's third flush. :-)

Running so many monotubs I did not want to do second flushes however the size and meaty nature of my second flush fruits and the sheer bag appeal once dry is hard to turn down.
I am nearly 100% on obtaining a full canopy every single first flush but I hate that I get a few hundred thin fruits, once dry they bother me. I would much, much rather have thick meaty fruits even if the end weight is the same. I have dropped the ambient temperature of my grow room substantially in the hopes to achieve this end.

Yes they are quick, one jar started to produce stones within 1 week.
Whole barley works a lot better than whole oats for me.

Thats pretty good. Cant complain with that.
How many generations of cloning did you do to get those high yielding isos?
Im only on 2nd gen and about to see what happens, Like i said the most so far i can get out of a tub is around 9 oz over 1.5-2 months. Is this because I do not have a strain "far enough" isolated?
The further in generations the more selected genetics?

i have no way of knowing where your results begin or end -in regard to environment vs genetics. those same tubs i pictured, when i didn't have environment dailed in i would be lucky if got half the top yield of the same exact cultues, fruits would weigh a lot less without tons of fresh air too. I'got 8 oz multispore firt flushes with pe too, i'm sure plenty of others have also.. i think thats common.
i prefer starting from spore, seems as if i get way more dailed in phenotypes -which allow me to pinpoint specific effects i'm after.. i seen fat clone grows, but thats not the route i like to take.
i use streak plate method, transfer at first signs of mycellial life. keep tranferring away if i see lines of demarkation, until i get what i think is a isolate, or at least a isolated 'monoculture'.

Can someone please enlighten me. If most caps of ape and PE don’t print and most don’t I’ve tried, them how in the hell do they make these syringes. This is ape BTW

Centrifuge I believe.
I think the thing with ape is not only are the spores invisible(albino) but they lack the ejector mechanism(surface tension something?)to drop the spores. So I guess they put gill tissue in a centrifuge and separate the spores from tissue.
Someone correct my ig'nit ass if I'm wrong.

You might just have a clone that’s not a high yielder. When you say 2nd gen do you mean it’s a clone of a clone?
And how many qts of spawn are you using?
That’s pretty cool if that’s how they get ape spores in there. I’ve also half wondered that.

They desiccate dry the fruits in as clean of conditions as possible. Then the caps are crushed and gill fragments collected. They are then put into solution, where the large chunks are filtered out. Then the solution is spun in a centrifuge to separate the heavy cubes spores from the lighter mold spores and bacteria rods. This forms a pellet that can be separated.
