Found these growing in my garden in fertilized soil next to sunflowers and marigolds. They are watered daily. Some grow very close to each other, in pairs, some are solitary. So far seven in total. There are some bark chips and wood chips in the soil. Some stems bruise dark (not sure about color) when damaged. The spore prints are brownish, possibly with hints of red and/or purple. The climate is coastal SoCal. Included are pictures of the mushrooms both as young and mature, both in the ground and harvested. Spore prints are included as well. Could someone help me identify them, please? I'm attaching pictures. I’m very curious!
Habitat: In my garden in fertilized soil next to sunflowers and marigolds. There are some bark chips and wood chips in the soil. The climate is coastal SoCal (they are watered daily).
Gills: Attached. Brown. Spore prints: brownish, possibly with hints of red and/or purple.
Stem: Length: c. 2-3 in Diameter: thicker when young (c. 0.75 inches), thinner when mature (c. 0.5 inches). Color: bright (white/beige) Somewhat hollow. Fairly thin.
Cap: Diameter: c. 2 inches. Color: bright; golden/pale yellow/bright brownish/beige. Spherical cap (when mature) with slight knob. Convex cap.
Spore print color: Brownish, possibly with hints of red and/or purple.
Bruising: Stems: Some dark bruising (not quite sure about the color)
Thank you

Could they be Pholiota?

Pholiota seems very likely. In the closeup you can see some frills on the caps edge. Don't know what species but I agree pholiota

Since I'm almost never right on Id's, I have been doing lots of research, and I reckon it's slowly starting to pay off
