The course nature took back.

Firstly I'm not asking for ID's, though you may provide if you simply want to. I'm just sharing my adventure.
Yesterday I got off work and decided to go familiarize myself with a possible honeypot. The weather should give me good conditions next week, So I figured I'd see what the area looks like while it's dry and comfortable to traverse. That accompanied by the fact that I simple wanted to walk through the woods away from the hussle and bussle for a bit. He are some finds from my journey, not a total waste as you'll see.
So the location is a neglected disc gold course. Or should I say 4 baskets forsaken. The original course had 4 baskets that ran off down a nature trail. The Disc Golf Association of my area took them off of the course map and stopped keeping up with the area. Is still beautiful but the trail, baskets, and rest areas are all over grown.
My first find is what I believe to be a Lactifluus volemus, due to a quick search and comparison.
This milk maker was a fun find for me. I didn't try it but searches say they are edible. On a side note, how would you take a spore print from a mushroom that leaks milk from its gills?
The only other mushroom I find on this trek was a pretty common wood lover for this area. Not sure what it is but it's everywhere.

Also, it's that time of year hunters. Watch your toes.

My two take-aways from this adventure are two discs I found in the woods. I'm happy to add them to my set and they made the trip very much worth it.

On the way out I saw this misfortune, talk about a bad day.

Cool trip
To obtain spores of wet/contaminated/outdoor mushrooms, first remove the cap and quickly dry it a bit for two hours on paper. This will let the contams fall and the wetness to dry. Then do the standard procedure, place the cap on foil, rub a drop of water on top and cover with a cup.
Good luck!

Those common wood lovers that you pictured might be young Meripilus Sumstinei.

I didn't observe any bruising at all. All of the specimens I touched were very hard, no flex, just snap.
