semi-outdoor sgfc, would it work?

hey
looking to have my shotgun fc semi-outdoors in a garage. Some light does come into it but it's mostly dark. There's also some bugs like spiders there.
Would misting twice or three times a day be enough (7am, 4pm and 9pm)? I am also thinking of getting insect netting from a hardware store to keep out bugs. Not sure if there is a lot of FAE going on in there, it also does seem pretty dry in there. Are there any battery operated devices that could work which could increase humidity as well as air exchange from in and out of the garage if there is no power supply?
thanks

Why the garage? Less than ideal cultivation space. Indoors is a much more manageable climate to maintain consistency. So many variables to cover to answer this question.

Have people in the house. Not enough room for a SGFC without someone coming across it.

Ive incubated buckets in my garage quite well. Your perlite layer will take care of humidity, what you need to dial in on is temp. Garage temps here in the northeast are all over the place with hot days and cool nights. That can really mess with your pinning and fruiting if you have a rabdom freakishly cold (or hot) night. Depends on what youre growing. Do you have a basement? A SGFC isnt messy.. doctor it up with sharpie and house folks will be none the wiser 😄.

No basements here in Australia. During winter now so usually 50-70F days and 45-50F nights outside. Would Golden Teachers survive at this temp during the night?

Youd have to either use an AC or a space heater to keep the temp constant for pinning and fruiting. This is just speaking from my experiences trying to grow shit in rooms with temp swings, it has never ended well for me. If you could cool or warm the room (depending on what youre growing) then it could be a viable grow room. Im pretty new to the hobby so just giving ya my two cents, but Ive had my fair share of failures already. Maybe someone else will chime in that knows more, I grow gourmet mush so I couldnt tell ya what the GTs like. Much luck to ya!

I see. Unfortunately I don't have electrical supply to the garage. Would you know of any other battery operated or traditional ways of maintaining this? I'm planning to have the SGFC off the ground on top of 4 bricks at each corner. Did you encounter any issues with insects? Thanks for your help
