 what are your summer plans?

so far my list of plans is:
i'm going backpacking in colorado/rocky mountains for 2 weeks. 
see phish at alpine (june 25th-26th)  
see some smaller shows if i can 
trip a couple times 
get a job
have lots of fun!

Well working on my car. Hopefully going to work 5 days a week so I have money, and getting the 3 day weekends and such that I need for.. Festivals and parties! August 1-14 I'll basically be touring with the dead I plan on going to some raves, and 2 or 3 local small festivals. Some house parties. Some camping. I'm basically gonna try to do something every weekend. I'll probably trip a few times, and roll a couple times. Candyflip once or twice maybe 
Basically gonna go to work. Keep up on the car and bills after work. Weekends I'm gone, no responsibilities until monday morning
I also have to hook up with this financial aid lady and take some entry exams to this school. 
I dont know what it is about the weather getting beautiful out, but there's some magic in the air this year

going to school for 5 weeks, see some dead shows, catch whatever else I can, since Phish isn't coming around...(WAAAH!!) I'll see Ani Difranco though...and go for a little backpacking trip, go on a little west coast trip to see the redwoods and such and hook up with my sister...lots of hiking around where i live....work in my garden...I don't know what else!

Do lots of drugs, Bonnaroo, a few Dead shows and a few Phish shows, maybe the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (friend wants me to go but it'll be hard to swing it) and maybe a rave in a cave, a 24 hour mega event! http://cavemanexperience.com/. I will also hit up Summerfest near me. I'll probably see Dark Star Orchestra and I dunno who else.

Also this summer I'd just like to chill outside as much as possible, maybe do some camping just for the sake of camping.

So far I am going to bonnaroo, a few local bluegrass festivals. Going to ohio. I wanna check out canada sometime. I wanna get back out to Oregon to. I would also like to learn how to surf. And inbetween all this stuff work for my people and make sure all is well with the family n what not.

Spending the rest of May in Colorado, high in the Rockies just off the Poudre River north of Fort Collins, in an old primative cabin lacking running water.
Headed to Southern Illinios to back pack the river to river trail in Shawnee National Forest for 4 days before I head to Bonnaroo in Tennessee.
I will spend 4 days in the hay field just outside of Manchester, TN for the Bonnaroo music festival.
I will then be coming back to Iowa untill June 24th when I will fly to San Deigo, Ca to spend a few days on the beach with my mohter and then watch my brothers graduation ceremony from the USMC which is June 30th. This will then take me to Portland, Or for the July 3rd Dead show. I will be spending the 4th in Portland and flying back to Iowa on the 5th.
The next part of my journey takes me to Alpine Valley to hang with Kosmic_Charlie, KindKesey and any other shroomerite who decides to hunt us down. I'll probably go to Deer Creek after this then settle back down into a job and all that horrible, rotten, dirty shit we get forced into doing.
