1. Yes, you seem to have replaced everything a monotub does for itself with machines! All FAE is passive and is caused by the heat rising off the sub.
2. Yes that's too much, also see #1.
3. Probably, especially if you're pointing fans / wind at your surface. If it's not glistening with moisture, mist it!
4. It's not what you're missing, it's what could go. Which is everything electrical except the lights. If you ditched them you can grow just as well or even better and won't have to maintain the machines.
The way you're doing it will work, just a lot more complicated than a true monotub. What you have is basically a Poor Man's Pod which was the standard on Shroomery about 15 years ago.

The problem I'm seeing right off the bat is that you have way overcomplicated your setup. A good monotub does not need any automation, other than a light on a timer. Have you seen the standard 6 hole/unomodified mono teks? You'll have way less headache and way better results with one of those.
Humidity inside the tub should be ~99%, which you'll get in a normal, passive mono without any of the humidifiers and junk. Don't add more coir to the sub, just spawn it and let it do its thing.

Thank you for the candid reply. I put this grow together based on compilation on what was working for others. I get what you're saying, less is more. Thank you again!

Ty for the insights. I'll adjust accordingly and let nature run its course versus trying to push the agenda with the machines.

It's super easy to do that, especially since a lot of Shroomerites got their start by growing weed indoors. The beauty of a monotub is that if everything is dialed in perfectly the entire first flush could be done without any input. Even if things aren't ideal misting once every two or three days is easy peasy.
Look forward to your results and welcome to the Shroomery.

If your growing in tents no need for tubs at this point. Humidify just the tent and take the cake out of the tub and if you put them on wire racks you will find out you get growth on both sides of the cake due to more surface area being available.
Not many people have took this into consideration but it fucking works.

Ty ty again! I'll re-adjust! I'll post results once I'm done with this batch.

That's interesting you say that. I was originally thinking of doing an open grow in the tent versus monotub but decided to go with this set up for first time. I'll try the open grow on my next batch. Ty!

ah, cubes.
Yeah the simplicity of the unmodified tub would've been sufficient......................
I was thinking maybe you were growing some other mushroom species, in which case perhaps would've needed a different environment than cubes.
