GA i.d. query

Species #1 my guess is, it a Panaeolus cyanescens?(which is the same as copelandia cyanescens) correct?

Habitat: horse trail in the woods marietta, ga

Gills: this thing is kinda dense

Stem: stiff, when it bent it snapped like a twig but didnt seperate

Cap: pretty hefty

Spore print: by the time i got home it soaked up all my sweat and wasnt dropping anymore but in the field when i was holding the print on my hand looked black

Bruising: sadly not much the cap turned a lil darker but its more black i think than blue

General location: definitely off of horse manure i do have habitat shots and will post those if it makes it to the actives forum

so if it is active thats prbly not enough for a dose any suggests with what i should do with it to maybe have a future patch in my yard/neighborhood? much appreciated as always

:whathesaid:

Check the mushroom observer map and see if there have been finds in your area. Im not saying its impossible but pan cyans are more common south of I20 and more common in cow dung than horse dung from what I've personally observed in my cyan patches. Check that spot again when the weather cools down around set-nov, thats when I see mine flush. Don't give up, you'll never find shit if your don't go looking for it.

I'm not sure they grow that far North in Georgia,  I know that they grow in South Georgia.
