Unusual bacteria with galindoi?

I was wondering if anyone can identify this unusual fungus or bacteria with my bag of stones on corn. There were some big truffles, but there is also this powdery and also slimy material trying to engulf the bag. The truffles also smell slightly different, but not bad..,
Any ideas appreciated 😉

there is absolutely no way in this god's world that you, or a lesser god for that matter, could get even one mush from that, that , that thing I have no words for...
The good thing about being a young grower, is that there is always the next day/experiment to learn sumpin'...

To answer your original question, no I can't identify your fungal contamination. Even if you sent me a sample, the very act of preparing the sample for ID can destroy the delicate structures needed for 99+% positive ID.
BUT! -the usual suspects that fit this situation would be Papulospora byssina -commonly known as the 'brown plaster mold', the other suspect would be some variety of 'Botrytis'. But for the love of god (take your pick of your preferred god), I have not seen a case of Papulospora EVER, and a case of Botrytis in maybe 10 years.

The good news is there seemed to be some sort of symbiotic relationship going with the black slimy stuff and the bag. I had an unexpected high yield from it after washing well:

Wow! Well that IS good news! I have been growing shrooms both gourmet and 'medicinal' for decades, and have never ever seen a tub like that recuperate -ever. But I guess there is a first time for everything? If I ever come across a pic like that in future posts, my response will still be the same.

FYI turns out this was weevil poo, as grain weevils had found their way into the bag.

Howdy friend. Thanks for your honest reply. Weevils! Well that is a new one for me lol! It looks like we both learned something. Thanks again for dumping a bit of knowledge into the grower's pot. Some peeps get all pissy for no reason; I guess they don't realize that failures lead to solutions which lead to progress? Good luck with your grows!

Wow, that's crazy.. Looks like you got a pretty big flush of stones out of just grain(and weevil poo lol) How long did you let the bag sit for? I have just inoculated two jars of corn myself.

Oh it was only three months in before they tunnelled in and made a nest of it, but ideally would have kept it six months or longer for best results. With corn you should get stones throughout the whole bag, not just on the sides with rye.
