Long time cannabis grower, first time shroom growing. I'm going to building a green house set up, I ordered everything I could think I would need but if I learned anything from growing you will always need something.
Will keep this updated as I build and continue to grow. Thanks in advance for any help you guys provide

Looks like the beginnings of something beautiful.
I guess some of those greenhouses have a problem with rusting away. I'd suggest doing something to protect it from rust. I was thinking about getting one and coating it in a rubberized coating. Maybe filling the tubes with silicone or coating the outside of them maybe idk was just a thought. I just got done building my GH used plastic shelves, marine vinyl, all weather repair tape for seams and a stick on zipper for the door. Working on getting it dialed in cleaning up wiring and getting a drip tray for it.
Good luck with your build

Gizmo.... You gotta share that setup in your journal man... I'm excited to see it.
And yes all of my greenhouses in the OP style tended to rust out when I ran them.

Sounds like a quick coat of some kind of better paint would do the trick. Or some water proofing.

Maybe but I feel like they paint over metal that has surface rust. If this is the case the rust under the paint will continue to worsen causing the paint to fail. If one wanted to really put some work in you could use aircraft grade stripper to strip the old paint and any rust off. Then rinse thoroughly, scuff the entire surface with scotchbrite pads or sandpaper and put a good coat of paint on it. I think the insides need to be painted too and if I remember correctly from my old greenhouse the tubing has a crimp or a seam running down the length of it. after painting I'd seal that crimp off with a caulking or silicone in an attempt to keep the tubing from rusting from the inside out.
All this probably isn't necessary. When I get another one of those greenhouses I'll probably just coat shit in silicone to try and keep rust out and get a little extra life out of it. My last one lasted forever and when I was done with it I sold it and made most of my money back out of it. I just heard alot of other people have this problem with the. Maybe it's just a certain brand or maybe the newer ones aren't as well built or don't have as good quality control. Who knows lmao.
I'm looking into getting one of the bigger ones the walk in type found them on eBay for like $45-$50. Won't be doing that until I get a new house though.

Sock I will just trying to get er finished up first waiting on gear ties to come in mail so I can clean up wiring. Gotta figure out something to use as a drip tray. Going to mount the inkbird timers and power strip on the wall or maybe make a wood panel for them to mount to. Figure out and order some lighting. Probably going to suspend two more rows of shelf's to get more usable space. and just a bunch of little shit to button up.

Set up complete. Let me know what you think. Also I have a question on the humidity sensor. What should I have the humidity sensor set at to turn on and off the mister?

Looks good man if you dont mind me asking where did you find that drip trau. Is that hydroton on the bottom? Last but not least whay kind of lighting did you use?
I set my humidity controller at 90% RH but im still trying to tune it im not sure thats where she will stay my warm mist for temp control brings the RH up higher than that and the coolmist pretty much is used for FAE. I have the intake for it sucking in fresh air but I have the coolmist hooked to RH control and warm mist to temp control. Then I used two small usb fans set to come on randomly to keep the air moving. For lighting I used a 4 foot LED shoplight off to the side.
It looks good. Did you ever do anything for extra corrosion resistance?

The tray on the bottom is just a car trunk tray I found on amazon. This is the exact one I found... https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01MDKXV71?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image
Search for boot trays on amazon and they will pop up. I filled it with lava rock.
Lighting is https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B074Y32PFZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image
It's really nice becuz you can dasiy chain them. Just zip tied them to the bottom of the shelves but the top one I used one of my light hangers and tied it to that.
I did end up spray painting the shelves we will see how they hold up.

it has been while but here is some updates pics

so i have some questions.
in my green house set up what should i be keeping the humidity? im using a custom fogger i made and i can keep the green house at any humidity, i currently have is set at 60-90%. should i change it? keep it? or i just have to play around and see what works the best.
next question is i want to move on from BRF cakes to bulk, my guess would be instead of brf cakes in my green house i will use tubs, can anyone help me in providing a good step by step from start to finish of bulk substrate

Bodhisatta has a long list of teks where you can find what you need.
The basic premise is build a SAB - germinate spores on agar (or clone a mushroom since you have some growing) - inoculate sterilized grains with that agar - once the grains are colonized mix them up with some coco coir and vermiculite in a monotub or shoe boxes. These are self contained tubs and don’t need to go in the greenhouse.
Obtaining a clean culture on agar is the most important step. I always have something going on agar plates so when I want to start a grow I prep my WBS like this https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/8508523 Once it’s cooled down I inoculate them like this https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22833314 And about 10-14 days later they will be ready to go into shoe boxes like this https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26009662 Colonized in a week or so, pins around 10-12 days, and a week later
When you first start with bulk definitely use only coir or coir/vermiculite. Manure or coir with any strange additives some people use needs proper pasteurization. Which isn’t hard but it’s another area that can be messed up.
I use the classic bucket tek for my coir but less water. I’ve found the recipe of 650g coir (1 brick) / 200-250g vermiculite / and 11-12 cups of boiling water comes out almost perfect to make 7 shoe boxes at 1:1.5 like in the thread I linked.
Probably a lot to take in but it’s all real simple once you get into it.

If I were him I would mix my spawn and substrate into trays and put right in the tent.
