Josex said: Yes, it's ok. The grains always lose the whiteness when you shake em. Seeing that as a beginner is a bitter pill to swallow I know, we've been there
It'll get all white again in no time dont worry, unless the jars are very bacterial, in which case they may not recover. But you don't wanna spawn something that doesn't recover anyway, cuz you're gonna see mold if you do.
Ah, I think I get it now, thank you Sir... you wanted to say, shake it good, see what will recover, and what will reveal some dark secret, healthy mycelium will recover nicely...
Look now: 1 (different numbering than first post sorry)

this one looks healthy to me
2

I like this one also except for that dead spot
3

this one might be okay? that recovery myc have interesting look?
now for suspicious ones 4

this one had that big pin last time, you can see it in pic1, worried about gray stuff (pic4), mold?
5

this one is obviously gone to the dark side too bad, looked like one of the most promising ones, looked white and nice from the start, growed nicely heh

Yea a last recovery shake can be great when in doubt and can reveal those dark secrets as you said. If there's hidden mold chances are you'll see it after the shake and if you weren't entirely sure there was bacteria now it will make itself more apparent.
They all look bacterial to me tbh, some worse than others. But you might still get some fruits if you spawn the healthier looking ones in separate shoeboxes.
Jar 2 looks toast and that dead patch is already taken by bacteria and doesn't look like myc will be able to colonize it. Jar 5 got the green obviously. And in jar 4 I don't see green, just blueing myc, but can't see well right now so I'm not sure.

That jar 2 colonized the dead spot after few days! The thing is, when I opened the jars to mix them to substrate, hm, I didn't actually liked that smell... it's not screamin' bad, it was a bit like... wood? All jars had the same smell. It was not mold... Also there was no sign of contamination anywhere... So I mixed them in few boxes anyway... What do you suggest how to proceed further, what to pay attention to? Seemed like you said there is still some chance for me if they are bacterial? and yea, thanks for help mate:)
