Any help with ID on these ?
Found growing in my backyard grass this morning, they’re huge
Brown gills see pics, one looks a bit different

No blue bruising as I can tell
Few more pics of the white one, pink gills

Agaricus species probably a good edible. Might be Agaricus campestris, or, Agaricus arvensis if they stain yellow.

Thank you, I’m guessing the flatter cap shroom is the Agaricus. I’ve seen the white shroom before too but can’t remember IDs very well lol
It’s crazy because I threw some active brf jars like 25 feet away from where these grew and I wasn’t even paying attention and almost stepped on them.

Wow haha after doing some research on Agaricus it looks like the white mushroom is what they look like before the caps open up, that’s awesome.
The myc network must be huge these were growing in a patch about 4 feet wide

I'd eat them all, if I found them, after I identified them properly. I keep trying to get at my patches before they mow them down, but it's to no avail.
If you plan on eating them, wait for a TI to confirm first, and never take my word for anything.

I probably will not eat them, as the thought of eating a wild mushroom still terrifies me slightly, however very cool at how big they were, almost thought they were cube spores that had traveled but no blue bruising whatsoever so I figured they might be something else.
I never really go hunting but I think I’d like to start.

right on man, good luck
On a side note, you're only going to find cubes growing in livestock fields from dung, or dung piles, from Tennessee on down to the Gulf Coast

Don't NOT just eat any Agaricus species you find or you will regret it because of the severe gastric distress that can occur, especially the yellow staining Agaricus that smell like chemicals, medicine cabinets or just smell bad. but smell isn't the only Way to tell if they are edible. Here's a link with a key for the Genus Agaricus

I sure don't. I just know the ones that I find in the cemeteries, and parks here are all edible. At least all the ones that I found are.
Agaricus xanthodermus, is one you definitely want to stay away from!

Yeah I picked them for an ID, they would get mowed over anyway as it’s the backyard but I wouldn’t eat any wild mushrooms unless I knew unmistakably they were cubes at least. But even then I’m drinking tea

Well, unless you have Buffalo, Cows, or Horses roaming your back yard, you wont find cubes
I take that back, or unless you intentionally threw some cakes out there

in order for mushrooms to be harmful to a human with the exception of allergies, mushrooms must enter the gastrointestinal tract to cause poisoning., it doesn't matter if you eat them or drink an extraction made from them. Very few mushrooms can be rendered safe by cooking or parboiling.
edit: changed the word "poisonous" to "harmful" in the 1st sentence.
