Fresh transfers of this F11 culture. Peak summer spore loads have been landing some satellites on my plates and have me in summer school doing extra work on my sterile tech.

Big shoutout to Pastywhyte for the strain of RW's, and to Smartattack for sending the print via giveaway!
Been busy as a bee getting back to working with the Mycelium and LC, first batch of LC growth of RW's from a Spore print.
1350g wet, in the drier now!
Loving the results so far, haven't tasted them yet, can't wait!

You know how they say a cube is a cube except maybe PE?.... well why does no other cube come even CLOSE to comparison of the enjoyment me and my friends get from rustys? Seriously. They are unreal.

cube is a cube is true for like 80% of the varieties. but there are plenty of unique cubes with varying potencies and aesthetics

I eould even argue that between some varieties there's worlds of difference, especially on high doses you notice mite clearly

Question...🤔 Is it ok the just do a light casing? Let's say a 1/16 to 1/8 thick? I'm having a problem with tric on my first tub and cased with 1/2". Still doable? Or do I really absolutely need to case at all with these?

I don’t buy into the cube is a cube mess. I hate the saying. That’s like talking about Chinense peppers. It’s one species but between the varieties you have relatively mild peppers all the way up reapers and douglas. They all Chinense but they certainly hit different. I know I’m comparing peppers and mushrooms here but still

When it comes to tripping I think theres small variations between cubes. I know everyone hates it but I still think there's more to it than just that. Cubensis is found all over the world on a number of substrates. The inactive compounds developed have to play a role in it. I just dont know enough about chemistry to say I know for sure

I’ve definitely had multiple trips on one variety that always has the same feel to it, I just haven’t grown and eaten enough to know if it’s a consistent varietal thing or just that particular batch.
Like I’ve got a big bag of maz from a grow that has a distinct feel to them, but idk if it’s just that tub full or if it’ll be the same running them again from a different print.
