Is This Panaeolus Cinctulus???

Hey everyone, I'm pretty sure this is Panaeolus Cinctulus, but I'd really appreciate some alternate opinions .
Found these in Los Angeles CA in a well-maintained, probably fertilized, wet green lawn in a neighborhood. There were quite a few of them spread out in the grass.
Gills: Dark greyish to black, attached
Spore print color:
Jet black
Bruising: No noticable brusing (to me)
Stem: Redish amber but got more tan towards the top. Kind of a blue ish color at the base.

Do you know what the best way to store them would be (if I don't plan on eating them right away). Right now I just have them laying out on a piece of paper.

Dry them out completely cracker dry, then double bag them. You can use desiccant or rice to keep moisture drawn out.

To me those resemble the inactive grass Pan acuminatus which also have a blackish spore deposit
Wait for a TI to be sure

"TI" Stands For Trusted Identifier.
Panaeolus Sp Are Macroscopically Similar So Sometimes It Takes Microscopy To Differentiate Them.
They Could Be Active Or Not, You'd Just Have To Eat Them & Find Out. There Are No Known Poisonous Sp Of Panaeolus

This could be Panaeolus cinctulus, It has a good chance of being one of the psychoactive Panaeolus, but like it was said above, they are very difficult to almost impossible to separate into species without microscopy. You can try getting a spore print to rule out Panaeolus foenisecii from the active species of Panaeolus. Pan. foenisecii will have a brown, purplish black or blackish brown spore print but you have to make you get a good print by letting it sit for a minimum of several hours and up 36hrs to get a good print. Other than that eating them is the only way to know if they are psychoactive or not. Like also said above. there are no known poisonous or toxic Panaeolus species or black spored mushrooms for that matter
I am currently studying the Genus Panaeolus, if you would like to help me with my research by sending me a couple of specimens drop me a PM and I will send you my information
Several different species of Panaeolus have lines twisting down the stipe

If the spore print is a dark inky black color they are most likely pan cinct. Should look like ink from a printer cartridge.

I have been finding them in my garden, as of late, and all I do is just leave them laying out on a plate overnight, and they are cracker dry by the morning.

I don't eat em, I just save em up for buddies, but if you store them in a airtight container, in a cool dry place, they should last for years.

could be, there are other Panaeolus that have similar colored spore prints.
