For “high glycemic carb and proteins” I'll probably just be using chocolate (skim) milk with maybe a scoop of protein powder.
High glycemic carbs are simple carbs like white bread, white rice, regular potatoes (not sweet potatoes), corn/corn meal/corn bread/corn grits, or table sugar/syrup, etc.

Calories. Don’t bother counting, says David well sculpted weight trainer. He said the ratio of fats to carbs to protein what you need worry about.
As I understand, you feed yourself to give organs nutrients to make clean blood. You work out and hydrate self to get that blood to muscles. Your organs only can hold so much of blood cycling but muscles can hold store the built blood.
You workout, you tear muscles. That blood will get back to blood stream And flush out through kidneys to bladder if not use high glycemic carb and protein afterwards to take that highly nutrient rich blood and pack back to torn muscle as is good blood.
Think the muscles as rubber bands. As pull rubber band tight to about breaking you see holes in band as stretching to tear. The idea is to use blood to patch and build those tears which makes more density to rubberband.
I’m 6’5” 222lbs. Eating 10g fat 30g protein and forty grams carbs. Now seeing greater results to workout routine. Mostly been thin. Just recently been asking trainer advice. He weighs his food to hit target number of protein fats and carbs. I do too! Eating every three to three and half hours. Drinking plenty water.
DO ASK THOSE AT THE GYM! people there who workout and are in good health will share kind words of well being! I talk to everyone for it is a place where to make all feel very welcomed to be. ASK questions. Don’t get discouraged if one not too kind or doesn’t provide good feedback. Few ever not speak kindly back. As with question best to understand question asked as relevant to yourself so the one can answer.
Ive been to gyms on and off for years. Now staying on an on for helps feel well, healthy as if making use of all the food I eat, not making use of all the energy we consume. One thing that upset me is the trainers will watch you wear yourself out and let you stay thin with out asking of goals and giving tips to such. Took me years and still learning as go, but I ask them! They sit behind computer, but hey will answer!
Your diet will have to change for results. You’ll be amazed and feel great for yourself as you do follow suit to what is needed to get towards results you desire. Really, do check nutrition labels. A basic ham sandwich with mustard and mayaonaise is not beneficial to muscle growth. Proportions are wrong. Refined sugars don’t bother. Chicken and rice and greens. Chicken and rice and greens.
Fitness Trainer, David, built fellow, says, ‘people have a weird romance to food.’ I see how he says that.
Lots to learn as go and grow in life. Learning of healthy body, mind and soul of the best to seek for the clues to answers and applicability are of the funnest venture, because the direct relate and have instant karma like effects to you!
Oh! And don’t follow just one workout routine. Use online routines and different ones. Mixes it up. I pick one muscle area to concentrate on. Arms. Legs. Shoulders. Chest. Stomach. And do fifteen minutes a cardio and fifteen minutes after. Work up a sweat and keep it going through. Works for me. Find what works for you
Most importantly, be kind, friendly and courteous to those near you. And BREATHE!!!!
This is beautiful. Thank you.

Are you stretching, and doing warmups and cooldowns before and after your workout?
Are you using the foam rollers afterwards?

I stretch, play basketball for about 45/60min and then work out, I started taking it easier since I just started working out again and I don’t feel as sore. Now like you mentioned, I need to get some kind of rhythm going, regarding what machines/muscles I’m working out.
And regarding the glycemic situation. Potatoes are a staple in what I’m eating lately so that will work out good. I just can’t get over how interesting/important it is to eat correctly, not just the amount, but what you eat... Awesome awesome.

Potato I eat for breakfast.
After workout meal, I do white rice and protein. At 220lbs, I try to eat 200g cooked rice and do protein 30g as with cup of flax milk with 22G protein mix.
What’s your diet like?
I eat chicken w/peanut butter sauce I put together, rice/noodles, and greens salad; chard, spinach, arugula, much of meal for the day at home. Counting carbs, fats and proteins all along.
After eating this diet and seeing change, I am starting to see some good changes and also understand what to look for in other foods. Peaceing together well balanced foods is has been fun.
Oh! Was reading of xylitol on .gov website with studies proven well health benefits from teeth to hair to skin to bone mass. One prior action of xylitol is it being a non digestible carb. A sweetener for foods but not sugar turning instant fat. This xylitol gets to colon where ferments and aids many of things, as prebiotic full apple cider vinager does too! So, to sweeten with xylitol cuts refined sugars and provides well health.
Keep asking questions and find what works for you

You are on the right track. A few things I've figured out over years of exercising:
- Don't go too hard when starting out or getting back into training. Better to a light workout regularly than overdo it and injure yourself, or put your self off.
- What you eat is important. Most of us will have to count calories and macro splits if we want to get the significant change you see in "before" and "after" type pics.
- Ultimately, if you want to get better you will need to improve whatever metric you are measuring. If you are running, you need to get faster over time. If you are doing weights, you need to be lifting. If your metrics are the same this year as they were last year, you won't improve.
- To achieve this you need to keep records. I'm always mystified at the number of people at the gym wandering around doing random exercises! Just use a notepad on your phone. Make a list of exercises, note your reps and weights. Do them till they become easy, then step up a rep or a weight.
A lot of good stuff here: http://www.weightrainer.net/training/rules.html

I started taking dietary supplements and peptides and don't really know much about them. My friends recommended these peptides to me, because my testosterone level is low, and I would not like to undergo therapy and take hormones. And this peptide has been studied as an alternative to such therapies. This way I increase efficiency, muscle mass and lose weight faster when I work out in the gym. Finally, I was convinced by the argument about studies that said that when using this peptide, it does not damage my internal organs. So why don't they work? Everything looks believable.

Cardio vascular health should be the goal of working out. Weight loss should be the goal of a reduced calorie diet. Do not get caught up in the idea of pre or post work our suplements, they are just added calories. People protein load and piss it down the toilet or wonder why they keep gaining weight even though they work out.
Soreness is pretty unavoidable when you start back up or switch it up. It is a good thing, a sign of muscles regrowing. When you are back into the swing of things be worried about excessive soreness.

If you have access to a sauna use it after the work out
As ive gotten older and having always been active and exercising, i view it as a marathon man
Dont overdue it
Go slow and get in the groove of things
Starting with calisthenics vs going straight to weights can help
You can get in excellent shape with calisthenics alone
Diet is huge. Eat good clean food. Get enough vitamins and nutrients. Stick with whole foods. Fruit and veggie and rice and protein, shit like that
Get good rest
Listen to your body bro
Watch some videos of joe rogan talking to people on different thoughts and idea related to fitness
For instance intermittent fasting One video talks about the benefit of stopping before exhausted. For example, over a year, you get more out of it if you do 7 pull ups two days in a row vs doing 11 pull ups one day and are too tired to exercise the next day. Thats just a rough example but you get the idea
I mean exercise is just part of life and results are not overnight
Just include it in a consistent way and you will see progress.
It does depend on your goals as well
Hope this helps a bit
Consistency... Thats what it comes down
Get consistent and you can get amazing results without killing yourself and having no energy for life
Develop a good workout for your needs.
I use to do full body calisthenic workout 2-3 days a week and threw in a heavy weight exercise on friday
But i got tired of killing myself man. Outside of the gym i was already very active
Just stay consistent and exercise at least 3 days a week, educate yourself on a proper diet, get good sleep
Read and meditate and stretch a lot
Almost forgot about that
I use to stretch a lot mostly after my workout. My body didnt need it before. Just little shit in between exercises.
Stretch stretch stretch
Goes a long way.. Use to spend a solid 30 minutes or more stretching alone after my workout..
Had a whole process for it hitting every area of my body. Its fuckong great. Then the sauna. Fuck i miss that shit

I'm not a professional but I'd say, Learn to lovvve being sore. It feels gooood. It's your body reminding you of how many muscles you have, and how excited they are to be alive.

Nothing wrong with being sore, it's a reminder you pushed progressive overload (the goal) sufficiently!
Roll, massage, stretch that shit on off days and feel the lactic acid orgasm LOL.

Theres definitely levels to being sore.
Im not going to say youre wrong, to each their own.
But if youre so sore you cant work out then you need more time to recover.
And if you dont push yourself that hars and go to say 70% vs 100%, you can workout more often, feel better, and over the course of a year youre overall output will be far greater.
But yeah, going to the extreme is the typical and more common belief.
I just personally dont adhere to it and find it not as useful after hearing some professionals speak about. It makes sense.
70% 5 days a week > 100% 3 days a week
And i personally found it better to my overall level of productivity and happiness in life.
Being sore all the time to that degree is a waste of time imo.
But again, to each their own.
Theres no wrong way to it if youre exercising properly.
Be consistent, grt a baseline, then move forward and increase.
Good luck op, you dont have to be sore all the time or be so sore you csnt exercise to see gains and improvement.
But again, thats just me, and that isnt exactly the typical belief when it comes to working out.
People are all about pushing to the extreme but i use to have those same people ask me about how im so cut.
