Tripping with regards to cosmic/lunar cycles 1

Greetings friends! I haven't been tripping much lately but I am considering doing so again, but in a more concerted effort to explore the mushroom realm and gradually move up to higher doses.
I am by no means the most seasoned veteran but I have a few heroic doses under the belt and am aware of the usual prerequisites regarding set and setting, general wellbeing etc. I am however interested if there's anyone here who has noticed any correlations between the time tripping and lunar/cosmic cycles, if there are any noticable differences between tripping on a full moon vs new moon, apogee vs perigee etc.
I'm interested as I would like to perhaps schedule my trips in a way that would be most beneficial and was wondering if any of you had noticed differences at all concerning this.
If not, no worries, but I'd like to hear from anyone who has thoughts on this. Thanks

Full moon is just very nice to look at while tripping, and I try to align my trips so that there's something to look at in the sky during the night of the trip. I cannot say I experience anything different though.

Full moons, solstices, major eclipses, very particular nights like Halloween or when the moon is full and colourful. There are definitely cosmic events that have some impact on the "magic in the air."

I tripped last weekend and was expecting the moon and stars on full display ... unfortunately clouds did not agree and quickly hid them. I spent the whole night feeling I was missing something essential. The moon and stars can be so fascinating !

Sometimes clouds do get in the way too, though a little bit of them I do like also since they are very fun to look at aswell, just not when they cover everything or turn into an even mass lol.

I woke up in the middle of last night when much of the world’s creatures were still asleep and the Sky was tantalizingly clear & crisp while the moon was shining ever so brightly. It never fails to evoke a sense of mysterious wonder in me. In regards to set & setting - planning one’s psychedelic voyage to it could prove to be a phenomenal idea. I normally like it when the fungi kicks in (be past the come up) by about 1:30 am because 2-5 am is when I can best appreciate & behold the pure magic holding everything together - the world & beyond.
Feels like I can really sink my teeth into it during those hours.

I usually trip on the winter solstice, start looking at the date a month or two before it happens and making plans. It's not uncommon for there to be psytrance parties on that night in my part of the world also. Always awesome parties.
I've never planned around the moon, but full moon while tripping is pretty awesome.

Cool, yeah that's what I'm wondering about. Would you care to elaborate further? Maybe certain times when you noticed specific things about these cosmic events whilst on a journey or perhaps certain qualities you've noticed or intuitions you've had. Much appreciated!

Sounds marvelous! I'm planning on doing a 00:00 dose and expect to peak the first wave at that 2am sweetspot. Thanks for your comment

Ah yes, the solstices are a great idea. Thanks!

I actually did trip on summer solstice this year, my first trip in a long time too and testing out my new successful grows (everything went to crap during winter and autumn...). Those new mushrooms were waaaay stronger than what I had grown previously and I was fighting with very severe bodily discomfort most of the trip so I didn't really have time to marvel at the bright skies during the night in this part of the world and whatnot...

That’s why you gotta powder & homogenize you’re batches that you’re going to eventually use AND do a tester dose of each batch well before your “main” trip. .5g - 1g will be enough to reveal their potency.
Think of it like doing a test launch that’ll give you a proper reading of how the trip will go. That gives you data, and then you use that data to adjust your process for the main trip so that you’ve got some semblance of knowing what you are getting into. You don’t see Elon Musk launching his rockets to mars as soon as they come off the assembly line!

Absolutely never paid any attention to that at all.
My local world is far more important for the comeup, and once hyperspace is attained all becomes unity.

I definitely learned my lesson, it was quite reckless of me not to do a test run and the experience, while valuable, I don't want to repeat lol. Later trips have been nice though, and friends had a great time with those mushrooms also

I tested a dry batch once at 8g. I thought I had left them in the dehydrator too long. They blew my fucking socks on and tied my shoes.
I've learned that lesson all too well.

I love to trip at night during the full moon. When the full moon coincides with a Solstice or Equinox then it is a really special night. On a clear night it is amazing how well you can see by the light of the full moon. The moon becomes like a companion that watches over you and illuminates your trip all night long.

I try to trip in 6 week cycles based around the moon, solstices and the equinoxes. I think it adds to the experience for me.
