I see, well, it looks great right now, but eventually it will need a stronger light source or it will start to etiolate badly.

Is Artifical light an option?

Yes, and I would try an LED or another HID light system.

I actually used to be really into cacti, and I had dozens upon dozens of specimens. I think I might just take back up growing them again. I sure do miss their presence in my home and garden.

Mkay, I will check out those LED systems. Im guessing its the same ones used for cannabis?
They are beautiful arent they? They remind of those Egyptian Monoliths. And all these need is lots of light and a little water

Yes use a decent one like you use to grow cannabis.
Cacti are quite beautiful, and I only stopped growing them here because of my horrible wet rainy weather in the winter here.
when I lived further down south I could leave all my plants out year round.

What happened to the growth tip LC? Looks like it was damaged. That tip might terminate and pup.
That cutting looks like it has good genetics. That is a nice phenotype.

Yeah it rains here in Oregon alot too, especially in the Fall/Winter. And yeah, its definitely some good genetics, its a cutting that my best friend from Hawaii had.
GreyFox there was a small growth on top of the tip that was damaged when an item from my closest fell on it (i just recentlymoved). I made a thread awhile back with the small growth tip and someone said i should cut it off. Ironically, it broke off an in accident so i guess it worked out for the best

LC it should pup again from the tip. They are very resilient plants. I wish you all the best with it.
