Do bacterial jars need to be disposed of or can they be PC'd? If so, do I need to PC them before i add grains and then PC again or just PC once I add the new grains? Thanks!

You have bacteria in your empty jars? Just wash them thoroughly with hot water and soap, like any other dirty dish. You only have to PC them when you're ready w/ the grain

I'm talking full jars. So I can dump, wash, add the oats, and PC and be good on them?

So, it's just mold where we need to toss the jars themselves, correct? Thanks guys.

What? No, you don't need to toss the jars themselves. Just clean them out well with warm soapy water and start again.
People might toss the whole thing out if it's a big disgusting mess and don't want to spread spores / clean up the mess, but you don't *need* to throw out the glass jars ever. Glass isn't going to carry a contaminant, especially after PCing again.

Yeah, the glass jars no matter how gross they get never have perma-taint. A run through the dishwasher is vastly more than enough to get them ready for another round.
