I have to admit, you are way more adventurous than I am, some of the mushrooms you've tried I would never have given them a chance, I think Panaeolus antillarum was one of them.

Yep, I try every edible mushroom at least once, and I find that some of them are right up there with the best
Try you some pan ants sauteed in butter with some juevos, muy delicioso!!!

The main reason I try some many mushrooms that no one else eats, is because my area sucks for anything good.
No psychoactive mushrooms grow here but cinctulus and the choice edibles that do grow here are as easy as trying to find a needle in a 50 acre cow pasture!
I love mushrooms too much just to give up, and not hunt, even if they are just obscure species

That's me, I just love the hunt, it doesn't matter what I find as long as I get to go.

I was debating on going today, but it's just a bit too hot out right now. That normally doesn't bother me but it also hasn't rained in quite a while so I think the chance of finding anything today wold be slim to none.

It depends on what you are hunting, robust species like cubensis can fruit 14days after a miniscule rain of a 1/16" if the humidity is high enough or temperatures are reaching the dewpoint.

Yeah, I used to find cubes when it was dry as shit out, and it hadn't rained in a week or so. Gotta love Florida for that
I know I can always find something here, even with no rain, but it's just not worth it to go out sometimes because of the lack of variety here.
All that I found when I went out last time, was a a whole forest of Psathyrella, and that's it
