Does Psilocybe subaeruginosa still grow once frost hits ?

Just wonder is it the end of the fruiting season for Psilocybe subaeruginosa Inc other wood lover species found in NSW Australia once the winter frost comes on ?
I was thinking of heading out to local forest this weekend which is a mixture of pine plantation and eucalyptus and was wondering if I was wasting my time since we are in the coldest part of winter.
Thanks for any feedback you guys may have, much appreciated

Nothing can grow from a frozen ground. Imagine an ice cube. That's what the ground does. It freezes.

I haven't paid attention to the NSW thread or New Zealand threads, so I can't say anything about subs at the moment but I can say that there are mushrooms that fruit in snow and ice so you can't nothing does.

I am certain subs will be around during frosts as long as there is sufficient rain. The frosts will probably cause oxidation but theres no reason they shouldnt fruit.

Great to hear OOISI, we are expecting rain over the next few days so I’ll get out and see what I can find. Went out last weekend but it hadn’t rained for over a week so I’m thinking any that did fruit after the rain had either been picked or wilted by the time I got there.
