Can you help me with my heating pad I tried mid and low temps mid gave it to be in 96 but the low make it too cold what should I do

Hey Bodhi,
Thank you for all the resources you have provided! They have been super helpful thus far.
I haven't seen you mentioned anything about adding antibiotics to your agar. Have you even done this/seen a need for it? Back in my biochem lab days we did this frequently and it was super effective in preventing infection on the plates.
Any thoughts on this?

Bod I've been attempting to follow your Oat tek and keep running into problems with over moisturizing or under sterilizing. I'll either stall out after hitting like 15% colonization or go to wet rot. Do you think altitude would be having a large enough effect on PC technique? In the past ive done Rye Rodger Rabbits way. But since the virus the store i get my rye at quit selling it, and its pretty pricey online. Im using the Producer's Pride that you have in your Oat tek post. Any advise would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for the comprehensive and easy to follow guide to the forums @bodhisatta!  It helped me discover a few trusted cultivators with interesting TEKs I'd like to try.
As a complete noob, this thread saved me a lot of time scouring search results.

I'll keep it brief here, but just wanted to say that I appreciate all the effort on how to start and what to do. Like a few others that have posted in the past I look forward to the day when we don't have to be cloak and dagger on this. I live in one of the three states where even having access to certain spores is not allowed so my journey is complicated by this. Going to try these methods on growing mushrooms for cooking.

A lot of species do colonize inside of plants and trees and are adapted to sense atmospheric conditions when the hyphae reach the air and then form pins.

Hi, thanks for everything. So many years later im using every bit of this info. Quick question do you recommend i think you said 65-72 degrees for inoculation of the oats? Is 77-80 good or not? I do have a temp controller & heater so I can do any. Im doing syringe to oats.
