Cherimoya and pineapple. Watermelon. I eat a lot of Honeycrisp apples. I love me some good strawberries or raspberries but if it's a pie or cheesecake or something I usually go blueberry. I had these cotton candy grapes a few times and they were phenomenal. In the summer I like to buy frozen blueberries and just eat them frozen.. nice cold snack. I couldn't pick a favourite. The very idea is blasphemy.

Apples are best in the fall, so this time of year they've all been stored forever. Fresh apples without the wax and shit? Delicious.
I've been eating blueberries and sliced banana with yogurt, cinammon, and honey for breakfast and it's pretty good.
I also made my own gravlax and wrapped it around honeydew chunks like prosciutto and it was amazing.
Got some donut peaches (the weird flat ones) from my reject produce delivery box and they were perfectly ripe.

Its hard to explain and Durian is difficult to get outside Asia and if it is, its super expensive. Most azn supermarkets have Durian icecream though, thats a good introduction
It has a very distinct smell and it sorta tastes like how it smells too. I dont find it repugnant for some reason. The structure is also pretty much gooey and you scoop it out with your hands
I had Durian in Malaysia but I was told Thai Durian is the best and strongest

Strawberries, peaches, pears, raspberries, grapes, apples, blackberries, watermelon, I can't decide which one I like most. It's probably something like:
Strawberries, peaches, pears > apples > raspberries, blackberries, grapes > watermelon, but I love them all.

For savory eating, it's gotta be boiled jackfruit seeds or fresh avocados. Both are a good meal on their own
For fresh eating, sweetsop aka sugar apple is the best tasting fruit I've ever had, but I've only had it once. Regular eating for flavor, the stonefruits (peaches, plums, apricots, nectarines etc) are king.
mango, red bananas, watermellon, starfruit, jackfruit, apples, blackberries and strawberries are all super bomb fresh also. Plenty of more bomb fruits in this world too
Frozen, blueberries. Buy some fresh blueberries and put them in a plastic container then into your freezer. Then pull them out when frozen and eat immediately, they're still soft. It's my new fave dessert

It depends on the season, at the moment I'm eating peaches and greengages, but later in the year when pears and figs are ripe I'll probably be eating them by the bucket.

I bought some Rambutan a few years ago and now can’t wait for Rambutan season. They look a bit like red hairy balls, but the fruit is delicious and the seed has a nutty taste. ‘
And it’s named Rambutan. Can’t beat that.

Try dumping in a bottle of vodka and allowing to steep overnight. Even if you dont like clear liq, ultimate party/festival foods.

I've heard this so many times and what comes to mind atm is, wouldn't it be easier to just blend the watermelon and add vodka to it? Obviously easier is subjective but it would be quicker, you wouldn't have to wonder how much booze you lost, and you wouldn't have to eat boozy watermelon. You'd have a nice lil smoothie.

I forgot about these. My mom used to get them sometime when I was a kid. I'm going to have to try to remember to pick up some soon.
By the way canned fruit is underrated. Everything in a can is these days kinda automatically written off as trash but there are canned fruits that are actually pretty good and preserve virtually all of the health benefits of fresh fruit.
I think most everyone prefers fresh, and rightfully so but canned fruit are not a bad alternative at all

I mean, sure you can, I think it's easier eating a vodka-saturated watermelon from the rind. plus, it gets nice and concentrated by sitting overnight. To each their own?

Yeah if you get the heavy syrup ones then it kinda defeats the purpose of it being healthy to say the least, but you can get syrup free ones.

Watermelon or blueberries or cranberries, tough call on all 3.
Who the fuck eats canned fruit, you know they sell it fresh at the grocery store... it's not the early 1900's were you needed to be a Rockefeller to get fresh fruit.

Is eating baked good the same as eating the actual fruit?
1st point is correct, but with normal distribution unlike now you can in-season fruit from different parts of the world in less a week.

Canned fruit also provides the buyer the opportunity to keep fruit long term. Fresh fruit obviously has to be consumed pretty quickly.
Like myself, I always buy fresh fruit to eat within the next few days after purchasing, but I'll also snatch a few cans just to stick in the pantry. That way if I'm ever at home and I'm out of fresh fruit but don't want to go to the store, I'll have some right there in the pantry.

Like myself, I always buy fresh fruit to eat within the next few days after purchasing, but I'll also snatch a few cans just to stick in the pantry. That way if I'm ever at home and I'm out of fresh fruit but don't want to go to the store, I'll have some right there in the pantry.
OK, now that is a quite reasonable answer for canned fruit

1st point is correct, but with normal distribution unlike now you can in-season fruit from different parts of the world in less a week.
You're riding on the edge of being incoherent here, but I'll try.
"Is eating baked good the same as eating the actual fruit?"
- What?
"1st point is correct, but with normal distribution unlike now you can in-season fruit from different parts of the world in less a week."
- I'm not about to import fruit from over a thousand miles away, and pay more for the shipping than the fruit itself is worth.

If you eat a baked good with fruit in it, does it count the same as just eating fruit. If it does, fuck fruit, i'm eating confections all the time.
My grocery store imports fresh fruit out of season from around the world all the time. Also if it is truly out of season consider frozen over canned if available.

All I said was some canned fruit is good, and you take it like I've never thought to try fresh/frozen fruit.

I really like pomelos, I had one in April 2020 for the first time, I broke my 42 day fast with it and I swear it was the best thing I ever tasted, I check the store for them and they never have more, I dont know when I will ever have one again

Well with the watermelon and pears I didn't want to get too many fresh fruits because I always feel pressured to eat them fast or else they'll go bad

Did ya ever get to try the frozen melon niff?
I got to try a green cactus pear for the first time today. It tasted kinda green like a cucumber but with the sweetness and texture of a watermelon. A solid 8/10 experience, but I hear the red ones are better though

Hard choices, but I love Kiwis, Pomegranates, passion fruit and mangoes the most. Plums, peaches and oranges all rank up there too.
