I can eat them alone with salt and pepper as a snack, on a tuna fish sand with lettuce and cheese, or in salads, fresh pico.....

Its hard to explain and Durian is difficult to get outside Asia and if it is, its super expensive.
Most azn supermarkets have Durian icecream though, thats a good introduction
It has a very distinct smell and it sorta tastes like how it smells too. I dont find it repugnant for some reason.
The structure is also pretty much gooey and you scoop it out with your hands
I had Durian in Malaysia but I was told Thai Durian is the best and strongest
