Nationwide Shortage of Pressure Cookers

Bro - there is seriously a shortage of pressure cookers around the entire nation. You can't buy a Presto, you can't buy an AA, you can't buy a Mirro. AA says that for new orders you place today, they will begin shipping in December! Sure, there are cheap 6 quart bullshit pressure canners out there, that you can't even fit a quart jar in, but anything larger than an 8 is sold out - everywhere. Presto 23 quart canners are on Ebay for $300... I literally couldn't find a large-size canner. WTH is going on?

Yes - that would seem to make sense... It's crazy though, a 4 month back-log? That's crazy. I went ahead and bit the bullet and bought a $300 presto 23 quart from Ebay. It hurt my heart to do it, but I don't really have any other option...

Bro - I've looked literally everywhere and there are none, either online or in my area. I looked all over Craigslist and at thrift shops near me as well.

I luckily bought a presto 23qt on A about 3 weeks ago before they sold out, and it should be here this week hopefully....
It’s the last piece of the puzzle I need so I feel your pain

it is crazy. we're backordered on quite a few necessary things where I work. thankfully there haven't been too many major supply chain issues with food so far though.
