Freaky grey powder/fuzz inside stems?

Just harvested some large fruits that grew much faster than the rest. Snapped one in half after drying to ensure it was dry enough, and was surprised to discover this grey powdery/fluffy material inside the stem. Looks kind of toxic. Reminds me of fiberglass or something.
I’ve seen a lot of mushrooms in my day and this is a first for me. Has anyone seen this before? Any info about it? I assume it’s not anything to worry about, otherwise I’d have heard of it... Hope I’m right since it seems like all of these fruits have it.
I dried these for 24 hours in a dehydrator immediately after harvesting and they are bone dry.

Never seen that before. From the picture it *almost* looks like the inside of the shroom bruised and dried?
Doesn’t make any sense, was just an observation. Definitely wait for more input from someone who’s seen it before

Really? Every other mushroom I've encountered has been pretty white/tan and not fluffy or powdery inside. Can’t say I’d call this normal.

Yeah I’ve had that too. It depends on the type of flesh. Solid spongy ones like a lot of pe has will get like that, hollow stems usually don’t.
I also think it’s just bruised and dried out.

Thanks, it's good to know this isn't going to poison me. Do you mean dried out when it was growing (i.e. not enough water), or just dried out by the dehydrator?

Small update: I harvested a few more fruits from this (incredibly slow growing) tub and cut one open while it was still fresh. The inside quickly started to bruise blue/grey, and I can see how if the entirety of the inside of the stem did so, it might appear grey and similar to the picture in the OP.
