Second flush slow progress. Time to soak for another 24 hours or wait it out?

Hi All,
I've achieved a first flush of 26grams dried Golden Teacher cubes via a grow kit. I achieved that the first flush through including the dunk (24 hour soak) and roll technique so I removed the cake from the plastic grow kit container first. Otherwise it's just being regularly misted (less now that I'm at work 7am-5pm) and in a plastic humidity tent in a dark room in the kitchen.
I got another 5 gram dried without re-dunking a second time and have kept spraying hoping more would develop in this way in a less larger flush than I first experienced and I've got a few small clusters of pins and some young pins growing up but they don't seem to be making much progress. I don't have any extra humidity creator or anything so the humidity will be coming from the cake itself and the white ?perlite I think it's called? in the bottom of the bag. I change this out every now and then as I've found from my spraying the white perlite is often sort of sitting in excessive fluid so I sieve that out and refresh that every now and then too.
Should I wait it out and hope these newest pins mature or resort to dunking the cake including these ones (I assume that may kill them off) for another 24 hours to help them flush better as a whole? It's been about five days with little obvious growth so i'm wondering if they're past it??
Related to this, do these grow kit cakes have an expiration of sorts where the mycellium can become exhausted? How many flushes should I expect as such? Perhaps I'm wrong but that first flush seems pretty huge! Just want to make the most out of this kit as it took a good 12 weeks for it to be totally inoculated and ready and I don't have another cake base ready or more spores either.
Appreciate your advice everyone. I've had some pretty beautiful experiences on what I've tried so far and have a great respect for this medicine. So much can be learnt.

Wait it out, imo. Ime rehydrating mainly just improves the consistency and speed of the second flush. If you keep taking care of it those pins will mature, just not all at the same time. I spent a long time not rehydrating my tubs at all, only misting heavily for three days post harvest.

If you’ve gotten 31 grams from a kit, and while leaving it in the dark no less, you’re already one up lol.
The pins your watching now, were they already there when you harvested the last mature mushrooms?
A 2-4 hour soak is more the norm for preparing for a 2nd or 3rd flush on a bulk sub. 24 can make a mess. I’ve forgotten to drain some for 16 hours or so and they’re soggy and most trich out.
I don’t know what kit you have or if the makers even tell you how much spawn they use so you’ve got no gauge on what kind of dry weight to expect. Just from all the things I’ve seen on here though I’d say that thing is probably grown out. Normally I expect about an ounce dry first flush per qt of MS spawn, then another ounce+ over a second and third flush.
You got pics of this kit and the pins?

Hi!
Yeah, the largest of the pins was a lot smaller when I harvested the last five grams worth...there's definitely some growth but it's a lot slower than how the last five grams matured.
Oh sorry it's 26 grams in total - including the latest 5g.
Yeah, I don't think I'll soak it again. I'm going to wait it out a bit longer for these to mature then maybe short soak after that.
Yeah, I haven't been keeping the lamp on it actually! Maybe I should put that back on it so it's getting some light during the day...oops.
it's just one of these:

but I never used the whole syringe worth as per the instructions
