Droplets from the lid in FC

Hey folks, first post here
I was growing some good old Golden Teacher in an incubator, consisting of the monotub resting on top of some submerged whiskey glasses and an aquarium heater set to 24°C, plus 2 big holes with cotton for air exchange. I had no measurement of the incubator temperature nor RH, and the room temperature oscillates between 12°C and 20°C. I was waiting on the mycelium to start pinning, but after 3 weeks of fully colonized substrate (rye flour and vermiculite) I noticed some blue stains on the mycelium, assumed it was contamination and discarded the batch. There was heavy condensantion inside the incubator and big droplets most definitely fell on top of the mycelium.
Now reading a bit I think it might had been bruising and not contamination :/ what do you think?
I have this really bad picture that somehow shows the blue stains, but they were more evident at naked eye.

Thank you for your time.

Looks like bruising and metabolites. If you are not sure, you can do the "cotton swab test". Swab the stain and if the color transfers onto the swab, its spores and therefore contamination.

What do you mean by this? You made cakes and then shredded them into a bulk substrate? Or did you actually poured four/verm into a tub and injected it with spore syringe/different inoculum?

I made cakes then shredded em into bulk, since I miscalculated and ended with quite a lot of cake.

overall all I would say that is some unhealthy looking mycelium.
condensation is normal, water droplets falling on the substrate is as well, however pooling is cause for concern. Soaking up excess water with paper towels works.
lose the standing water and incubator, just mist and fan accordingly.

Thanks. Thing is, I can't keep good temperatures without the heater. Will acquire a blanket style one.

looks bacterial and as stated lose the incubator. the myc will usually create a good 10-15 deg of heat within the tub anyway. incubators are outdated and provide conditions more favorable for contamination to take hold. use agar to ensure clean spawn that is the number 1 issue often with contamination like like this. clean spawn is the most important thing needed for a good grow. id just ditch this tub and use it as a learning experience and try again paying very close attention to obtaining absolutely clean spawn. and if u must use a heater heat the room to 68-72 deg dont incubate the tub your just asking for trouble that way. the myc will provide its own heat.

Looks soaked too, lid condensation is normal, but if it's raining in there, I'd shake off the lid occasionally in the sink. Cotton is bad, it's organic, will be a breeding ground for mold. And if the bottom of tub is like a swimming pool, drain the excess out. Overall, not looking healthy. In the future don't use tinfoil as a liner. And tinfoil in water gonna rust my friend. Definitely go for ambient air temp, avoid trying to heat a single tub.
