Pentium 4 with 1066 FSB
    #2685858 - 05/16/04 10:12 AM (12 years, 6 months ago)

http://www.anandtech.com/guides/showdoc.html?i=2048

Highlights:

Pentium 4 EE 3.46GHZ ... 1066MHz FSB. Other details unknown yet.

Looks like Intel's squeezin' out the juice of the Prescott! It'll probably be $1000 however.

When will processor clock speeds be at about 10 GHz. I am holding off on buying a new computer till this happens.

WOW, that would be nice to have.  I love people who say "I've got the newest, fastest processor" but they have no idea what a front side "BUS" is

1k is a little too rich for my blood, but still nice to see what can be done.

Correct... this has great potential... probably can break the 5.25GHz word record with liquid nitrogen.

My friend has a 2.4C @ 3.4. You can push it there if you have the right MB/ram.

How is your cooling, and what is the temps of the CPU?

What is your VCORE? My friend has nearly the exact same setup...

2.4c @ 3.4
P4P800-DLX
2x512 Corsair PC3200 XMS
420W ThermalTake PSU
1.60 VCore
Stock Memory Volt (2.75)
He also has a SP-94, which provides excellent cooling.

Also what are your ratios?

cooling isn't a problem...i'm just using stock HSF...but CPU temps stay at around 94 degrees...Vcore is 1.575 i believe...not sure...haven't messed with all those settings in a while...using a 5:4 ratio...memory timings are pretty relaxed..can't remember them either...i know it's not my memory hindering my overclocking...im pretty sure it's just the CPU...even though it is a Week 21 Malay(lots have had good luck with this week)
