Slant tubes

I cannot find glass slant tubes with proper lids. Only cork. Or plastic ones wiht plastic lids, which are melting in my PC (they're obviously not PP).
Do you have any links to Aliexpress, Ebay? Or any other tricks so I can save some cultures long term?

Just search pp5 or autoclavable tubes on ebay or amazon, they are plentiful. Everyone has a preference on brand and size but material is the only thing that matters. Glass...PP5. Done

A good trick I found is to search for test tubes that you can heat up, the normal glass ones with the dark plastic/rubber type caps work good!
Home science supply or home science tools is a good website, there a little spendy on price but quality is good and they sell all sorts of at home chemistry sets and stuff
Check out any of the shroomery sponsors to, a few of them sell culture tubes an such as well

I use the ones like sandman posted. They are autoclavable just have to make sure you don't have the cap tight while sterilizing.

That's a great point to! Don't seal the caps all the way when sterilizing! I wonder if that's why some of your tubes are melting? Perhaps the higher pressure inside the tube is causing it to get to a hotter temp than normal and is causing the tubes to melt perhaps instead of popping and breaking?

No, its because of buying the wrong material.

I am still trying to get better at pouring plates correctly and was for sure not confident in pouring slants. I was able to get prepoured ones on Etsy.
Etsy has a lot of good mushroom supplies if you are lazy like me.

15ml is way too small for a slant imo
You will barely be able to put a scalpel in the opening or open tweezers to snag your wood stick.

Yea, I ordered 28 mm ones. But didn't even looking into "centrifugal tube" in the past. Now I have a lot of choices to buy. Can't wait to do some magic with them.

You can get them for free from cell treat.

Somebody linked it last month, just go to the request a sample page. I was expecting maybe 5 tubes but you get 25.
