silver Lining!
Here's the one that didn't. Thank you, though! I'm convinced the rest of the plates are the result of bacteria in the MSS. Going to try a few things to resolve this, but it's all part of the learning experience. Gonna retry that MSS to agar and scrape a single drop out to give the myc a fighting chance. I also have other syringes as well as someone kindly offering me a print in my PM.
You're all very kind, thank you.

Darn averys throwing tiny fruit first flush again. Think this will be my last time running them. Continue to be a disappointment. They even dry to damn near nothing.

That’s weird I’m having the opposite mine are drying heavy. Definitely were pretty small on the first flush though and hasn’t been a huge yielder. They just look so cool though.

They are on the small side but I always get a full canopy. They look cool for sure and they are fast colonizers, but a pain to harvest so many small guys. I guess I just keep trying to see if I get something big to clone. Probably going to switch to RW for the most part after these guys, got 30+ jars going of a freaky fat blobby RW clone. The damn thing weighed 14g dry. Very excited to see what it does.

I’m excited to grow them side by side with the tats as they look similar and both produce nice canopies but the tats are reported as fairly potent. On par with apes. We shall see

I got weirded out/paranoid one night and buried everything in the garden and went on a cleaning spree. Fresh out of yeti now. Got some almost ready to spawn though.

lol nooo you got rid of all that hard work???
I hate that feeling man i almost did the same last week when I thought somebody had come across my address. Everytime the dogs barked I was like oh shit here it goes! Man the battle stations!
Thank god for security cameras or I’d have spent the last week peeking out the blinds.
My latest natalensis haul
Definitely slanting the first culture that grows a pin on top, it’s getting pretty brutal trying to figure this one out.

Couple of invitro pins that snaked their way to the other side of the plate and then climbed it.

Pasty plates make for much prettier plate pins

Useless for printing but I guarantee you these will hit like a truck. they are very dense. These days I usually compost most my fruits after printing but these will go in my private stash😋

Excuse the ignorance, what's the deal with printing and composting most the fruit you grow?

They look pretty gnarly.
Do you patch your casing after harvest?? I try not to take chunks like those have on the bottom but if it doesn’t hurt anything it would be way faster to just pull them up.

No when I am more worried about them I will cut the Fruits free but since I can’t print these trees are just gravy I’ll still run for additional flushes but I’m not really worried about maxing out my canopy like I am when I’m going for Prints. Coversal, I can only eat so many mushrooms. The print alone is worth enough there is no need to be greedy and try to make money twice

Ahhh fair enough, makes perfect sense. Is the compost used for growing more mushrooms or do you use it on a normal plants?
