ID Help, Please. Blue Stems, Appalachian Georgian in late July
    #26855803 - 07/31/20 04:37 PM (3 years, 5 months ago)

Found these guys on the ground under a pine in Unicoi state park (NE Georgia mountains).  Strange blue stems, growing clustered.  Rubbery to the point of not being really breakable.  I can't see the gills, I have no idea where to start on ID.

Very cool, thank you!  Is the parasite also a fungus?
