Florida Swamp Mushroom ID request

Habitat found in a swamp in southern Florida. Growing on wood, this is the only photo I have since it was sent from a friend.

The Gulf coast, just north of Tampa/St. Petersburg. Someone said that's a cypress root coming out of the water. Also it's covered in centipedes for some reason

Thats one of those friendhip stones or whatever!!! Those painted rock things people leave and you collect them and let the person know you found it, then hide it again. Thats a painted rock! Should have grabbed it, probably some little kid waiting with excitement to know you found their rock!
