Virgin (My 1st time) fruiting chamber

"Humidify the fruiting chamber by filling it with perlite which was soaked in a bowl of cool water for 5 to 10 minutes. Line the bottom of the container with this wet perlite. This set up will allow water to slowly evaporate and create a high humidity environment inside the fruiting chamber."
I’m using this method. It says to soak the perlite in water. My question is should I sterilize the perlite in a pressure cooker before adding it to the chamber? (Letting it cool before adding my cakes) I’ve seen other post suggest using hydrogen peroxide to treat the water. What’s the water to peroxide ratio when using peroxide?
Thanks in advance.

Total bullshit in my opinion There`s so much nonsense information on vendor sites with growkits and stuff.
No cooking or sterilizing needed with perlite. Just rinse the dust off under water, let soak and dump in.
Never used peroxid, so that`s not my business.

There’s so much information out there, it’s hard to know what’s good information or not. Dunning-Kruger effect; I don’t know what I don’t know.
I’ve rinsed the perlite and let it soak for a bit. I’m sure everything will work out just fine. Thanks for the help.

Only one thing with the perlite: Don`t inhale the dust.
Nobody here would treat the perlite in another way than just rinsing and soaking. Of course you can do all kind of things with them. Dump perlite in tub at fullmoon, or spray your cakes with holy water and so on.
But here on this side you will get used to work out things without overdoing it, leaving out outdated techniques. Just what is necessary.
