I've set up 2 boxes in my backyard, one with mycelium and some patty pieces that were broken up and near where I'd collected and in 3 days 2 pan cyans popped(see pic below). The other box has the patty I flipped which is fruiting a lot so brought it home, the cows are eventually trampling most the patties that I know are good so after a couple flushes good chance they'll get stomped so I'm bringing them home now. I Have a big piece of land so a few boxes of shit is all good and will go great in the compost after they are flushed, thr land backs on to a river in the Costa Rican jungle so I'm am lucky to be in the ultimate mushroom environment. 2 days ago my wife picked some huge reishi in the land next to ours. In the boxes I used my home made vermicompost and even sprayed it with aerated compost worm casting tea for a microbial boost. Will keep you updated, happy picking

Hi mate, I had a couple questions.. firstky about misting or spraying the patties on days it's not raining.. does the media and patty like to stay moist or is it better let it dry a little in between sprays? Going in to the mini 2 week annual dry season so got a few boxes going. Should the mycelium be covered from light by compost or does straight light not affect it? Also when you said you had flushes popping up in no time approx how long do you think it took? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated ✌
