Possible contamination or very wispy mycelium

Hello,
I am trying my hand at this grow but am worried that what I thought was aerial mycelium is possible contamination (cobweb?).

I'm leaning more towards mycelium but just want to double check.
Thank you for the help! This website has been amazing for information!

It looks fine if its cobweb itll spread across everything within hours. If that happens you need to bust out the H2O2.

Awesome! Thank you so much.
It’s my first grow so I wanted to make sure.

I don't know it might take days for cobweb to spread that's why I'm not a trusted cultivator lol. But you'll know cobweb it'll look like webs, and if you mist with H2O2 it'll dissolve on contact. If you see any spiders you simply have cobwebs.

Exploding stems and few malformed fruits....it is most certainly not looking good.
The white fuzzy growth on the casing is concerning looking. Not cobweb, some other white mold or sick mushroom mycelium going on in there.
What can you do? Nothing. Don't take prints from these that's what you can do. It's sick.

The malformed fruit was a sidepin, idk if that would change anything. Also, the first picture was like 3/4 days before the second picture.
Do you think I need to start over?
The mushrooms I picked seemed to look ok but I don’t want to get sick or anything

No they wont make you sick. Only rotting or moldy looking mushrooms could do that.
At this stage of the grow you should have already started your next batch of spawn weeks ago so yea I think you should "start over" but let these finish too. may get a better flush soon.

Its also a sign of stressed out mycelium. Possibly stressed from a contam. I'm willing to bet contaminated.

What's wrong with correct terminology? And you can be a hero if you want to backup your claim of mutant fruits being sick.

Mutant fruits are NOT always genetics. It’s usually due to stressed out mycelium forming mushies as a last ditch effort before the contam takes hold fully.
You can just use the search function about mutants. Sometimes it’s genetics but most of the time it’s stress related.

I didnt say it was definitely sick I just said it wasn't looking good because of a few concerns, one of which is a weird looking fruit. Thanks for your help with the terminology.

I think it’s turned out ok so far
My first flush was essentially 3 large fruits, one of which was this monster

I’ve had a second flush that was much smaller fruits and am seeing if I can get a 3rd out of it. I did t see any obvious contamination and the spot in the picture I originally posted hasn’t grown or changed colors.
Thank you all for the feedback!
