Looks like mold. If it was a twig or charred grain the myc would grow over it, but as is it looks like its encircling it.
Syringe to grain is dodgy. How many jars did you inoculate?

Yeah doesn’t look good. The glare on that jar doesn’t help though either.

Hmm, look now, 24 hrs later... Tried to shoot it with macro lens on camera... Looks less black today, not spreading? https://imgur.com/a/pEZZBU9

I still dont trust that at all. If you check out the Agar Envy thread, you'll see occasionally people post "Myc fights" where the cube myc overruns or encircles a contaminant mold. Thats what I see there.

Stop using spores to grain if you want any kind of consistency in your grow. Also upload your pics to the site, many people including myself won’t click an off site link.

ok, valid suggestion... I was to upload it, and saw file size limit, so thought maybe I can keep better resolution somewhere else...
here they go here day 1 when I noticed the black dot:
and day 2, pics from 24 hours later

That’s not mold, IME it’s a companion crop that is often grown with oats. It’s oily so the mushrooms don’t like it much. That is not mold IMO.

Id go with what pasty said. That was my first thought when I say this post days ago, but then other people seemed to be sure it was something iffy. Looks just like you got a black grain or wood or something with the grains. When you have 100% colonization and you open it check to see what it is.

How could it possibly be mold there is nothing for it to be growing on right there in between the grain.
It must be a foreign object.
On that last update you can really see the "3d" ness of the black it is an object/seed of some sort like ol pasty said.

I see bits in my oats (and i see them before the boil) that look just like this. Small round black. I also end up with a fair amount of corn in it, as well. Quality control over there seems to suck.
