LSD Trip Advice

Hi everyone, so I had my first LSD experience about 3 months ago on what was apparently 300ug (1tab) but I doubt it. We dosed at 10pm and had an overwhelming but amazing trip in old mates mancave. We watched 'night on earth' on Netflix and a number of music videos from songs like 'the music scene' and 'when you die' and while it took a day or two afterwards to even comprehend the experience it was positive. Anyway, friends are planning on dosing again soon and are planning on going for a bushwalk high and although it does sound fun I'm also a little apprehensive because my first experience was largely me glued to a couch and I wasn't able to move for the first 2-3 hours of the trip because I thought I WAS the couch and I'm slightly concerned I'll have a similar experience and find myself overwhelmed (we looped quite a bit at the end of the trip which was a little overwhelming too) but without a place to happily relax? The two friends who have dosed much more since my first time are both adamant trips are a lot easier the second time because you're more familiar with the experience and that tripping during the day and outside is a much more enjoyable setting so I shouldn't worry, yet here I am worrying. So does anyone have advice? What are day trips like? Or bushwalking? Will I likely be almost incapacitated again or will I be fine? Sorry for the long post :P

Might be easier, might be harder, might be the same difficulty. You should probably expect things to be much the same and plan around that in case it happens. If it does happen, or if its even worse, do you want to be out walking when it does? I mean, don't get me wrong, your answer might be "yes" but it's still something to think about.

My ideal circumstance would probably be have the come up somewhere close to home and then be able to peak at home if needed or go outside if wanted. The idea of being away from a safe refuge isn't exactly the most enticing even though a bushwalk on acid is.

Napoleon, the first advice i give anyone looking to trip on anything is, if you are nervous or anxious or not sure if you are ready.. then you aren't ready. Set and setting are everything. If you go in without a good mindset you are setting yourself up for a bad time.
Personally i don't trip outdoors, and i prefer to be alone when i trip.. but to each their own and yes.. the more you do it the more you get used to it.

I most enjoy out of doors when it is snow covered and the sun is out and the air is calm. but a quiet ravine in the summer shade sounds delicious too.
cool summer nights in the city can be grand. the lights are fabulous.
if I am with people out doors is great, when alone I love indoors, but can be taken to the movies or art gallery without any fuss.

I’m not saying it’s a good idea for this guy to go on a hike far away from home while tripping nuts... but I don’t believe the thing about being nervous about tripping, equating to not being ready to trip.. I get nervous every time right before I trip... then the anxiety slowly starts to ease as I start to take off and usually ends with me peaking ...

Was going to say the same. Sometimes I've had bad experiences having gone in brave and confident, or wonderful experiences having gone in anxious and nervous. It does really help and is wonderful to go in with a confident fearless attitude, but I don't think this is sustainable indefinitely, as pre-trip anxiety is a byproduct of experience with all manner of trips, good, bad or even horrifyingly psychotic!
Also kinda implies that a difficult, challenging psychedelic experience is to be avoided at all costs, and the purpose or intention is to have a good time which bizarre as it may sound can be problematic in itself if this doesn't pan out (as inevitably one day it won't).
I would personally recommend that OP discards the idea that he is there to enjoy himself! I know that must sound ridiculous but it is such a short term and shaky intention to have.
You can get away with that for a time when young, but what happens when things do start going wrong? If the intention is simply to have a good time, then as soon as that stops happening suddenly there is no purpose, or reason whatsoever for doing what one is doing. It's suddenly just a massive big ugly mistake, and to a person without any experience (or even intention of) controlling/surrendering to this kind of experience, the result can be panic.
I think we are much better prepared, and ready, when we go in with the attitude okay this is maybe going to be difficult but I am determined to face my fears head-on.
If you want to make a long term career out of psychedelics you will have to do so eventually anyway.

Thank you everyone for the insight! I have some time to consider the experience before I decide on anything yet but the perspective from more experienced people is wonderful for my nerves as far as thinking about the experience...I'm comfortable in knowing that regardless of a positive or negative experience it's something I can overcome and nothing to worry about preemptively.
