Dealing with heat. No AC

Outside Temps are between 90 and 100 all week. My grow room stays fairly cool for most of the day, but its currently 78°. Outside Temps will be going down to 65 tonight. What do you guys think about leaving windows open thru the night to get temps back down? I've never grown in the summer
I figure a little fresh air and some cooler temps shouldn't hurt.
Tips, tricks, anything but "buy an air conditioner" 🤙

I have no ac and it is a total bitch keeping my grow room cool. A couple days this week hit 100+ and it's an uphill battle for sure.
Only thing you can do, other than get a unit, is make sure your sterile tek, sub hydration levels, and fae are on point.

I had to move my stuff to my basement cuz it was 90+ for about 14 days straight, with the nighttime lows only getting to mid 70s. Heats a killer.

Word yeah I might just bite the bullet and get a unit or take a break until September. I have 9 tubs looking fine, but not spectacular. No huge issues yet, but the heat is just getting started.

Won't hurt anything but if its 100 outside it really isn't going to help that much.

Why are you against a unit? Cost? Lots of cheap used stuff online.

Mostly cost yeah. I keep pumping cash into this hobby and it seems silly to have a unit just for the grow room, but I've been going back forth on it.

A mister with ice in the reservoir should help. the price would likely be comparable to an AC unit. A lower tech approach can be done by using the thermal capacity of water via a Tub in a cold water tub.

Yea I understand, especially when the heat wave is going to last a month at most lol. Just keep on checking OfferUp I bet something cheap will appear.

I was in the same position you are now some years ago. Eventually I just gave up trying to grow in the summer -contams won the battle. Maybe (hopefully) you will have better luck. I live in the north east which can have brutal heat waves; maybe where you live you can just ride it out 'till the weather breaks?
