Can anyone identify this litte guy? Im in Canada, way too north for this guy to be from around here. I recently bought a big aloe plant. I guess he tagged along on the plant.
He's tiny. Maybe 1.5 inches long.

Makes sense, when I worked in a produce section in grocery I'd find tarantulas in the bananas or dead lizards.
That's a cute little guy, I'd get some crickets from the pet store and put a little dish of water in there with him. As well as a little enclosure for him to be comfortable.

Not sure what species he is but he looks like a juvie himself.
Op do you have a heat lamp for him? If not I'd highly suggest you look up how to care for him and make a trip to the pet store tomorrow.

My guess is he's an ornate tree lizard but it's a wild guess. Since we don't know where he came from. Especially since he isn't full grown.

Put a dish of water in there for him to drink. Also put a towel over 3/4 of the mesh to keep in the heat as well as help regulate humidity and stuff. As cookie recommended a lamp is recommended if he is an anole
Definitely take him to the pet store and get some more infonor something.. you don't want him to get affected by improper climate. Scale rot and stuff can occur if it's too humid for more arid dwellings g reptiles.

You're in luck then. Wild anoles can live alot longer than the ones you get in the pet store.
Get a proper setup and you'll have a buddy for years to come

I was thinking about this when I saw the photo. It looks like it's suited for a hotter/drier climate, and the container it's in looks like it's been misted with water.
You need to dry that out, Gotlib. A dish of water like Sonic suggested is sufficient.

Those little assholes are everywhere in Florida. There have been times when I'm walking down a sidewalk, and it seems like hundreds of them run back and forth from the grass on one side of the pavement to the other as I pass.

Yeah. They're also usually poorly cared for in critical years of development. For everyone you see in the pet shop 10 others died between the breeder and transport or were left to die from injury or deformity.

He seems fine. The temp and relative humidity are good.
I put him on a sandy bottom with a few big stones and a long twig. He's got a few clover sprouts and a oak tree seedling. I sunk a coke bottle cap into the sand and filled it with water.
I put him a few ants, small green flies and mayflies in there too. He sees em and reacts to them. I read that they can take up to two weeks to get into hunter mode and really start eating. I seen him licking water droplets on the glass.
He's probably not more than a couple days old.

Dry that sand tho bud. You should bake everything g before putting in the tank with him to prevent him getting parasites.
I used to have several and snakes growing up and into my late 20s.

You’ve got a cool makeshift terrarium going there. When I lived in Houston, TX. I had one with a bunch of frogs, lizards, anoles, toads, and snakes. It was kind of a free for all but I was young and dumb. . Miss those lil guys.
Here’s som kinky anole on anole action to cheer up your buddy

If you have a local pet store they probably sell pinhead crickets and a variety of wax worms etc to make feeding homeboy a little easier and complete. You might want to invest in a small full spectrum light so he can grow well considering he’s relying on sunlight to grow his skeleton. They probably have a supplement to dust the crickets with as well.. that should cover the bases.

Super worms are good too when he gets bigger. Crickets are great too. You can also buy this protein paste for lizards to ensure they are getti g everything g needed in their diet. Or like yku said, the nutrient dust you put on their food.

It will die without proper light.
