several species I found over the last 2 days, (same trail)

Wood's ear, with a variety of other names... Auricularia auricula-judae. An edible specimen used in a lot of chinese dishes.

Crown tipped coral... Artomyces pyxidatus




Psathyrella candolleana?


No real clue on the last one. Little brown mushrooms are tough anyway.  That's the closest I can get.

Better pictures would be helpful,  close up shots of the Cap surface, gills and stem including the stem base

Only other relevant pic. Gills were a creamy towards grey color. That little brown one was just a curiosity.

I didn't print them or take more pics because I was ready to go when I spotted them.  Didn't consider using this forum either..

Gonna rectify that in the future

Probably more cream than grey. Eastern US too if that helps
