Little black bugs are eating my outdoor grow 1

So .... my outdoor grows have been going pretty well. I take my bacterial looking spawn and do one of the outdoor teks on the site.
Everything goes well even through pinning. It goes well as the young mushrooms mature, but as soon as the caps start to lighten in color, right before they get to that optimal point where the veil begins to stretch, these little, round, black bugs eat the shit out of them. I got a picture of the damage with you but I was not able to get a picture of the bug themselves because they jump out of the mushrooms when I get close.

What are they and how can I get rid of them?
I thought Psilocybin was supposed to protect mushrooms...

Without a picture of the bugs, it's hard to tell. Several insects eat shrooms, that's just the way it is. It's a matter of keeping them out of the grow area, which can be next to impossible. There are several organic sprays that you can try. Yellow sticky traps can be hung around the area. Growing outdoors has its challenges.

Try finding a very fine garden mesh? These are specifically for outdoors in veggie gardens to stop insects eating your plants while still allowing light through. A piece of clear plastic with small holes poked in would also help

Itโs a outdoor pach there no monotub involved... Iโd try some food grade diatomaceous earth.
