Caps have holes and splitting , what’s the deal ?

Okay, I’ve read quite a bit from different sources before bringing my question here.......
Holes and “splitting” of some of the caps on my mushies ..... I am thinking it is due to too much humidity with not enough FAE...... so I opened the tub to allow some fresh air to enter , and I wiped off the condensation that had been sitting on the lid.
From everything I read, as long as the problem is corrected early on, they will still grow just fine. Can someone confirm the issue is indeed too much moisture ? First time grower here... thanks for any advice or info.

i’ve had this happen before. they’ll grow out fine. i think the issue is with them being way too wet & then drying out

hopefully opening and wiping the lid will make them happier... there is still plenty of moisture in the tub, I think I had just a tad too much! Thanks for the response.... I’m curious what other people’s experience has been with this , too!

Also, I’ve read that it can be from “rapid growth” of the fruits...some claim dryness causes “cracking”, as to where these are small holes centered on the cap, and splits. I also came across one thread claiming that standing water on the substrate when the mycelium is just starting to throw pins can cause this.... would like to hear opinions on these thoughts.
