"Pan Cakes"--but for cubes (cube cakes? :-) )

A couple weeks ago, for the heck of it, I used some Ziploc containers and basically did "pan cakes". Coir, verm, brown rice flour, a touch of manure... Pressure cooked 2 hours, then inoculated with some liquid cultures I wanted to test.
I learned 2 things. I was stingy--I inoculated on 2 sides, not four. Also, I didn't realize that with LC, the mycellium tends to get soaked up close to where you inoculate. In these, I shot some in until I could see it reach the bottom. Still, the colonization is strictly top down.
That being the case, I only seem to have lost 2 out of 14 to mold. The rest are going slow, but they are going and beautiful white.
I can't find any info in the "search" for cubensis, so I'm asking for advice. Once colonized, I had planned to case, then use the plastic baggy humidity dome method. That should work, should it not?
Or would it be smarter to remove them, and fruit them like PF cakes, with a dunk an roll?

Go for the mush cult board. Recently we had a discussion about that. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26842305
And the more i think about it, i have to say Pasty is totally right. You won`t get much input here my friend.

Ha, yes. I read pasty's comment--about an hour after I posted here. The forum has a way to delete your post, but not to move it to another section. I should re-post it there, and delete this one.
I think as a relative newbie, I feel like posting in the "big boys" forums is a waste of time. As a newb, asking far more questions than I feel comfortable answering....
But it's a good suggestion. It's beginner-ish, but not really "getting started" stuff. I have the basics--proper PC usage, SAB, etc.

Yeah, i see your point. But it was way rougher back in time when you signed up. Usually you`ll get friendly answers from TCs and other veterans there. Of course there are know-it-all guys sometimes, but aren`t they in any places all over the world? Nevertheless i can`t tell you much about the containers and never did something like that, but i guess it will work.

Excellent! Thanks. I've never tried this before--I was thinking doing them like PF cakes, then through, why not just fruit in the container (it's already got coir and verm in the substrate--should hold tons of water....). I'll read up--I have probably a week before I can do anything with it.
So far, seems to be going without contams. So far so good.
