Regular Mouth Mason Jar Lids with Straw Hole/Plastic Straws/Silicone Stoppers/Silicone Rings/Cleaning Brush, Rust-proof, BPA Free Plastic Canning Lids, Great for Drinking & Food Storage(26 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TRCM1YY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RSmhFbNSAEF92
This says 26 pack I got it and the box says 25 pack I open it and there’s 12 jar lids... I know I should have read the description but these lids already have the perfect hole for a syringe port.

So this isn't a new tool, but ...

I started using cling wrap. Fought an inch long section off with a bread knife. Next time, I decided to use a hacksaw. Cut myself.

Had a eureka moment and went to the garage and cut it with my miter saw ...  wow, nice clean cut and you can turn a whole role into as many mini rolls in seconds.

stock image, too lazy to go back downstairs and take a picture of my actual saw...

We're in EU and it's proven all but impossible to get a Presto to NL but now finally we found one on Ebay Germany. Ordered for the 'soft' price of around 380,-.

Still it's gonna be worth it. We rock a 9 liter crap ass EU pc now that needs over 2hrs for only 3 one liter jars. Idk how many will fit in the Presto tho as they're slightly bigger than US quart jars.

Can't wait till it gets here! Gonna be a huge time and gas saver

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a blower in the US to build a flow hood? I see a lot of Dayton's popping up on Google, but the ones advertised don't seem to have the power to keep 100 CFM at 1.3 in WG.

I'm not trying to do anything big, I'm actually trying to keep the hood small with a 12"x12" filter. I don't have space for bags or thousands of plates, so the small size will work for my 20 agar dishes or whatever.

I didn't want to make a new thread for this and figured someone is bound to have gotten something new recently

Do the smaller Presto units fit 3 qt jars and get to 15 psi? That might be good enough for my meager needs, if so.

There little stove top PC only fit 2 for me I'll pm you s link to where I hunt for them. The 23 and 21 qts have been expensive AF but 16 qts can be found cheap and they fit 7 qt jars.

That was my experience too. I’ve figured out that with bacteria it looks horrible for a week or so but when it stops spreading and myc will sprout from it and eventually grow past it so you can get a clean sample. It takes a while but it works.

Ah, shit. Well, I do know they are available to ship because I know a guy in their corporate offices who is a buyer for that type of item, who told me they can't keep them in stock in stores, so they stopped trying. It will ship in the CONUS for about $20 or less so you'd be in for just over $100 if you had to go that route.

The thing about canners in the EU is a bummer tweeq! I actually have degrees in logistics so if you ever need something you can't get, hit me up. I can be pretty resourceful at figuring out how to get things from one place to another. I have done a lot of shipping for work, using mixed freight containers and other obscure aggregating services that get shit done in spite of insane obstacles. The commercial logistics world is full of secrets man. We can get you a PC without tapping your kids' college fun lol so hit me up if you ever need help, for real.

3 jars, Can confirm. The only catch is that you have to make sure the locking thing, that keeps you from opening it when it is pressurized, isn't hitting the jars. If you position it properly the lid will fit and they do go to 15PSI.

If you want it, here is video proof of me taking 3 quart jars out of my old Presto that I just can't bring myself to part with... ah memories.

It's not a new tool, I had It for a year now.

Carbon Steel Tapered Drill Bit and Countersink Set, 22 Pc.

These drill bits cut through pp5 plastic leaving amazing clean hole without the burrs.

8.99 for this set of drill bits with a adjustable counter sink.

The size Is from:    1/8 in, 9/64 in, 5/32 in, 11/64 in, 3/16 in, 13/64 in. and 7/32 in.

I like Harbor freight

Guess we’ll find out soon enough. Just placed an order on the site for a Presto 23 qt.

Was only $10 for FedEx Ground. Thanks for the heads up!
