Huh. Maybe I’ll have to measure out sub again and see. Although that’s how thick mine are now lol so I guess it’s one to one.

If I get good colonization of that Galindoi I put to a grain quart a couple days ago I think I may just spawn it to a shoebox like you did-- 30g dry is a pretty fantastic pull in 2 flushes off a quart when just 2 grams is a solid Tamp dose (if I'm not mistaken). I also presume you're letting the third flush happen?
Wonder if there would also be stones to collect after those flushes finish....

Here is what the first flush looked like
First flush was in jcms pan chamber, 2nd flush my normal shoebox on shelf way
I had already harvested 100g of truffles before making this SB
That’s how it’s done, folks!

https://sporeworks.com/image.php?id=236&type=D I mean that is an amazing flush c10 hands down but what ever happened to this I guess it got narrowed away from for better spore producing caps just sucks that we can’t get back to those big ones there. Has anybody grown the Beulah tamps are they at all different from the same atl and tamps we’ve all been working with.

They still do, it seems to be super dependent on conditions. 99.99 has a thread where he made gallons of atl7 spawn and spread it around the city, and the ones that grew aren’t even recognizable as atl. They’re short with giant caps it’s crazy.

the tamp shoebox did 55g off 3 flushes! (1st flush in my sig)
Those galindoi i only opened to harvest truffles and threw the grain in with some leftover coir and casing. So id harvested over 100g truffles then spawned em and still got 30g dry from 2 flushes.
Both would probably do more flushes but i need FC/shelf space so im scrapping em and harvesting stones (again for the galindoi)

I do sometimes get bigger 2nd flushes though

I like tamps cause they’re easy It’s pretty cool watching all you guys knock these out. I’m jealous but at least I can live vicariously through you all!

c10 should have had his a sec ago. I think his break from posting hampered that but would hope it’s coming, especially with all his stellar work and contributions on stone producers among other things.

My BRF puck experiment is almost ready to transfer. The mycelium is ravaging the puck. The invitro stones seem to be cracking it to pieces which should make it super easy to break into pieces for multiple inoculation points. Prepped some wheat jars yesterday in anticipation.

Yeah they’re aborted.
What are those? They don’t look like any I’ve seen before.

Those just look like atl jalisco doesn’t really have light color caps. Unless there seriously dried out. Jalisco also has more of a translucent cap.

Yeah that’s gallindoi. Tamps mostly have a sort of wavy cap and from what I’ve seen don’t have that light color variation in the caps, gallindoi do. This is jalisco.

Hey guys, I had this old (February) Tamp. var. Atl#7 plate I never did anything with,
So about 2 weeks ago I did a transfer and started fresh trays to see how it would fare-- here it is now:
Came right back to life I'm thinking about putting it to rye in a day or two-- anything you see wrong with it? Favor one area over another?
