That's like....way better than 95% of yurts.

Fucking nice tho

I'm pretty sure most yurts are barely better than teepees.

That just seems like luxurious homelessness.

I'd rather live in a ghetto apartment with a toilet and AC, than in the nicest tent.

I feel like if you're not smoking mind altering substances in those then you're doing it wrong. I wouldn't want to live in one, but it might be nice to do some drugs in one.

When you have taken every city in your wake from the Himalayas to the Alps, you don't have to worry about cleaning your own outhouses.

You're getting your barbarians confused. Hannibal terrorized Rome 1400 or so years before Genghis Khan. Attila the Hun probably rocked a sweet yurt too though.

My family member lived in a yurt after her cancer treatment,  had a pellet stovefor winter an ac n willow shade for summer n a compost toilet , shits so awsome  they can be bigger then most apartments, there not cheap for a decent one tho, buy second hand if possible  but its still like 20 k

There not foreverybody tho , if you love campin youll love a yurt,  hers was twice the size of the pics above  Its like glampin all year round , the sound of rain on a tent is my favourite sound

Anytime anyone asked me if I thought they should do something, I'd reply, "Why not? What could it yurt?" or "Yurt asking me for advice?"

then I'd suggest they learn to throat sing

Every tent I've ever been in during rain has leaked like a sieve unless I took time to cover it with tarps, even the big military style tents.

Most tents are waterproof via surface tension(nylon tents) therefore you cannot have anything touching the walls.  Also buy seam tape, I think they have paint on glues too, tents leak from the seems.  Other than that just basic stuff, lay a tarp under the tent, use poles to put one over the tent, don't forget the tie downs, was in a tent in a really bad thunderstorm and the spikes came out of the ground (cause it was wet and soft) and the wind sent me tumbling away.

Yurt would be a sick name for a brand of organic yogourt. You could have a Yurt as your symbol thingy and people would just be like, ":burke: Yurt" cuz it's like a hetti short form of yogourt:mindexpanding:

I can see it now, our first ad. Young man tosses in his sleep, awaking to a fever dream. A haze distorts our vision as he enters the yurt, where a heram of scantily clad maidens await to sexily feed him yogourt. Then he awakens from his dream finding himself alone in bed, confused and disappointed he rushes down to the fridge to realize it wasn't a dream after all. Yurt. The yogourt of your dreams :manofapproval:

Most yurts nowadays are made from heavy duty naval canvas - they hold it really well if they're well constructed. If they've had a leak in my experience its to do with the jointure of the window at the peak and the canvas.
