Wow. World record for staying awake is 11 days. What is your longest?

I think I made 5 at one time on stimulants of course but the hallucinations caused me to go to rehab, not joking. Saw a whole party going on in front of the condo in front of me and no one was there. Woke up my dad back then to tell him about it. Not that it was a bad thing, looked like fun. Just middle of the night and for some reason woke him to tell him about this party going on. Which was a mistake.
11 days, wow. What is longest you have gone and at what point do you start hallucinating? Even a week sounds insane to me nowadays. Most I go now is two nights but then I feel like shit and could go longer but not into smelling salts or other stimulants. I like my sleep.

"Stimulant psychosis is hell"
Why yes, yes it is. IME and opinion either way, even with nothing I can go two and everything is just complete misery.
Hallucinations are weak and to me is more of just a life is shit type feeling but when I wake up after 12 hours or so I feel great. Stimulants wow, it is hard to define evil but the hallucinations I have experienced and others I have read about. It is negative and even with a large hallucinating party going on it isn't fun. Compared to the psychedelics of course.
Just glad I never have tried Datura. Thought about it. But even at my worst I could still have some concept of reality. It would just be endless thirst and not remembering the majority of the experience. I don't even like thinking about it.
I have explored for the most part the yin/yang, dark/light, heaven/hell, love/hate and the grey areas in between that in my life. Been interesting. Just never took one's word for it even with my friends and I blame it all on my dad. Just joking on the last part.

Exactly the same here dude. 5 days is my record, also using stimulants. By around day 3/4 I was tripping like crazy but it was very hazy/dreamlike....kinda similar to the hallucinations from ketamine or morphine.
I eventually slept for 36 hours straight but it took me weeks to fully recover from the experience. Even then, I'm sure the majority of my mental health issues were triggered during this period of stimulant abuse.

4 days natural and the experience on day 4 (going on 5) was when there was a breakthrough exactly like an lsd or psilocybin fungi trip. Tit for tat. The same.

"Even then, I'm sure the majority of my mental health issues were triggered during this period of stimulant abuse"
God, I know the feeling. Sometimes I get paranoia for no reason, like even having my back to some stranger or sleeping in a place I don't feel safe my whole mind and body at times is always on alert for danger even if there is none and is why I have generic Ambien (Zolpidem) and Clonazepam which of course is generic for Klonopin.
I abused stimulants for a year straight at least and now I take these to slow down my mind and alcohol. Even coffee can can trigger so much paranoia and just trying to slow down the intensity of day to day life and interacting with people. But still compared to many especially having been in psych wards long ago some never come back to barely a semblance of reality.
I still get times where it just some strangers talking and it feels like they are talking about me in highly negative or threating when they are just having a conversation with themselves way where I just want to get away from it. Because that is what the hallucinatory people or groups would do and my mind shifts to thinking it is that automatically. I do not like stimulants and won't take them anymore except once in a great while.
Was given an anti-psychotic and flushed them all down the toilet. Felt like I couldn't reach my conscious mind and the anxiety was hell, like I was always trying to swim to the surface but trapped underwater and that really sucked.
Oh well, I know my triggers now and what to avoid. More Fight instead of Flight nowadays. Instead of the shit D.A.R.E. bullshit I grew up on what if they actually taught what drugs do what and the good and the bad of them. Like most people growing up, most didn't have a clue. Plus we didn't have the internet then.
But yeah, even two nights up in a row isn't enjoyable to me anymore or not eating even if I don't feel hungry as it helps recover. Just know my body and mind better than I used to and how important sleep and diet is. Though I still go on benders like I am on one now they are not stimulants and I sleep quite well most of the time. At the end of the bender I take a large dosage of Ambien. They say how dangerous it is to mix the stuff I do but I have been doing it for ten plus years now. Is ridiculous to me.
God that was a long post. 97 degrees out and most everything is closed or even handing out masks at the grocery store now. So bored of this.

5 days without stimulants... It put me in the hospital for 5 weeks with psychosis... I almost got strapped down... Advanced directives don't mean shit, trust me...

6 days while using methamphetamines and masturbating non-stop, I was eating nothing, I literally broke down muscle tissue to fuck myself, if my dick didn't turn to rubber and stop working I would of kept going. That couldn't of been healthy. I don't remember any hallucinations or after-effects as I was well taken care of with the benzo/opiate protocol.

An advanced directive is a legal document dictating what type of treatment you receive during a hospital stay... The hospital can override it with no legal repercussion... An advanced directive is basically nothing more than a wish list...

Something to cheer you up. Ween is an anchor. But seriously, I forced down nutrition bars back then. I knew those chems eat away the body. Had a serious coke habit as well.
Don't do that shit anymore. It sucks. The rush is great but actually got bored of coke. My brother said, then why do you spend the money and do it? Made a good point. At the time liked meth more, much more longer lasting.
But shit, after a bender on that shit/life/experiences get really fucked up. Can't say I didn't love the beginning of it. Coke was like a short bore. But god the orgasim with the women I slept with, fuck viagra. Masterbation wasn't bad as well. Downside isn't worth it though. Blah. My Native America friend had nothing in his nose between the left and right nostril. Chems rot flesh.
Snorted all I am going to do this life. On to alcohol and pills and occasionaly pot.

i think mine was 48ish hours, playing video games. eventually my eye muscle gave out and i felt like it just melted into my head. i freaked the fuck out and tried to sleep it off. to this day, like 15 years later it still gets dry and wears out more easily than the other one.

Yeah, not surprised most that replied are gamers. Time flies. And the other poster talking about stimulants. When it hits the hallucination stage and one still take more which I have experienced, it gets bad. They are not fun and esoteric lsd/shrooms type but some really crazy messed up shit IME.
It is interesting, the dynamic between the two. Talking to people that aren't there isn't fun. Seeing patters and shapes and colors and vividness and a tremendous sense of well being and insight, different story but I did meth for a solid year long ago. Wow.
At the same time nothing really scares me anymore besides being forced into jail and probation and into the system again for drugs. Though would never have on my conscience if it happened to make another persons life miserable to make mine easier.
No nightmares and I can process about any emotion and fear now. Still the dynamic is interesting. Tempted to do a bit of Datura. And no last thing one would feel is horny on it. Just like the picture. One sees some evil shit but different times. Think I can process the hallucinations. Not talking heroic doses here. The dark side of oneself and the body and mind being like a movie projector that one is the star in is hard to grasp. Am a chill person and not violent but holy shit what I have seen. The mind is a really strange thing.
And will never stay up more than 3 nights. Am to old for that shit. Used to feel I was wasting my youth and life if I didn't take everything to the extreme but have more wisdom nowadays. But to each their own.

Even 18 hours is enough for me. I've done the staying awake thing in my younger days and there's really no benefit to it. On the plus side I need less sleep in general. I can happily sit outside with a coffee watching the sunrise without having stayed up all night, it's much nicer done that way.

Before starting to smoke weed frequently i could stay awake about 36hours gaming and dosing 1 or 2 cans of monster energy on the weekends, sometimes longer but i could never keep enough sense to remember how long. Stims and redosing didnt tickle my fancy much, so i dont think i ever made it past 48hours

I think the longest for me was somewhere around 2 and a half days. By the end of it I was seeing "shadow cats" running around the room in all directions and it felt somewhat ominous. I had been doing various drugs in that time.

54 hours back when I still played warcraft, the only stimulants may have been caffeine. Interesting things happen when I do without sleep, literally obeying commands from people, such as to go to sleep. When the keyboard doesn't make any sense anymore, it's time to clock out, likewise when flying into trees.

Thats a hard one for me. I spent many years of my younger life perpetually awake for weeks on end with very small periods where id just pass out uncontrollably at some point. I had severe insomnia for a long time. I still have issues today, but im surprised im even alive based on much more than just a significant lack of sleep, so it is what it is. Im not sure how many days in a row was my longest without a wink of sleep. It must be a couple days to a full week or so or around there. Usually at some point id fall asleep for at least a few minutes or something in there after so many days go by.

Yeah, just never get into smelling salts to stay up. I get the feeling of being surprised to be alive. But if I repeated some of my same actions don't think by body would hold up talking the hard stimulants. Coke and meth, crank, and ice. I really think they are all the same thing besides cocaine.
On with the gaming. Just for me within reason. I felt invincible back then, not so much now.
Can't wait for the new consoles to come out in a few months. My laptop playing the new ones is barely holding up from overheating even with a fan. But yeah, 2 nights last time just sucked but I thought I would see. It was just boring. Plus is amazing the nightmares one has when on the powders. Is not exactly fun.
Dreams are an entertainment to me and I can process fears in my sleep. So I actually most times enjoy the dream experience and being rested.
Forgetting controls and the buttons on a console or the keys on the computer. I get it.

I did stop drinking but I didn't experience bad enough withdrawals to even "notice" cause I was going to work and etc
Also man I was trying to sleep so hard every night I'd lay there from 8pm till 5 wide awake
After like three four days man your mind breaks in a strange way and that's when the psychosis makes it impossible to function
At the hospital they shot me four or five times with the ativan or whatever I was convinced they were trying to kill me I ripped through the holes they had to put the leather holds on
Lots of very strange things to try and type on a phone

Yes that story checks out by personal experience. Lol. I just slept for 5 hours and getting fucked up. Hours on a train. Is interesting when one knows one is watching someone.
No paranoia. Fucking guy is staring at me and getting paid by the state to do so. How boring must a job like that be? Keeping to myself and like a dog, for what? Your shitty paycheck? God I can tell them.
On an Amtrak on a break in Sac ball sack Sacramento, guy actually followed me since it was like a 30 minute break. I notice. Lol. Never taking that to San Fran again, is a shitty trip and longest I will go is Denver.
How can one feel good about one's self getting paid for doing that worthless shit?

Yeah demonic. A party going on in my parking lot seriously but no one was there. Makes me laugh. Not fun. Didn't have a good reputation through those days but I can laugh about it now. Wisdom gained.
God my nostrils are still fucked up and I sneeze so easily. Whatever. Still have some bridge between my nostrils unlike my American Indian friend in those days. I hope that guy is still alive. Enjoyed hanging out with him.

I've never heard of anyone going that long without sleeping.

Idk how meth would factor into the 9 days, but I had 8 days sober, and I had hallucinations by day four
I would be in bed, and I'd begin having conversations in a false reality in which I was hanging out with shane gillis and artie lange as an opener
By the 6th night I was in the complete darkness of my living room participating in what I saw and believed to be bonnie MacFarlane and rich vos's podcast
Eventually I had a hallucination in my bedroom that my house was sinking underground, that there was a malevolent group torturing me telepathically and I actually went into my attic and was going to jump out but my family stopped me
I had multiple times where I believed I was being "tested" through seismic, radiation, and sound waves and that I had to cover my heart and head with thermals as protection from it
I thought my family had made a deal with an unknown group to sell me as a test subject to them to experiment on myself, that they hid cameras in my home and that my family was communicating with them through various microphones in my home
There's a bunch of other fucked up things I saw...
I should say I was coming off alcohol cold Turkey, but I'll say man there's almost like a specific moment i felt where i knew i would not sleep, because of these physical auditory and visual hallucinations i was getting
What was scary is the only thing that would make me feel normal wa adrenaline
Like i went to work the whole week, and i work in the tree business, so i climb trees use chainsaws etc...
But yea man that shit was fucked up
I believed I was electrocuted and that in the ambulance on my way to the hospital I was blowing transformers as we drove by them, that the drs were trying to kill me, that my vision was infiltrated and my personal information was being broadcast over sirius xm

I've had sleeping issues my whole life. Stretches more than few days and I'm too delirious to keep count, much less contact the Guinness people.

That does sound scary, especially the part about the doctors wanting to kill you, but makes for a great story. Like I posted earlier in this thread, the longest I've gone was about 2 and a half days and I was already hallucinating so I can't even imagine how intense your hallucinations and delusions must have been even by day 4.

That sounds like some Requiem for a Dream shit.

Honest to god the scariest part is it being so clear to your sight and mind that you lean towards believing it
That's just a few stories from those two weeks
I wouldnt wish that someone would have to go through it

14 days or so, but I didn't have anyone observing me for the world record. No drugs to aid in staying awake either
I can confidently say that after the first week, sleep doesn't even feel necessary. At least, for me it wasn't. By day 9 I was shaking from just my nerves being shot for not resting, probably

That sucks. You could of been in a record book that starts with a G. If you had wanted to be. My guess is you were not planning on that long.
I just go with the flow. Been up all night but two nights is all I ever go now. I just like my dreams, I don't have nightmares anymore.
Is strange. Think that is what death will be like. All black like when one is up for days and nights. And just wondering what is after that? What comes through? Hopefully something. But when and how who the fuck knows. The book of the dead was written by the living. Always liked that saying.
I don't believe in Jesus shit.
Utter blackness after days on end of not sleeping, is a strange thing for me when waking life/consciousness slowly starts to sink in. Is the same for most people. Have a wonderful dream and waking up, at least IME, my mind and body shifting to what was in that and the new normal dreary day.
I really hate the year of Covid. Am bored as hell.

I cannot imagine what would happen after death, but sleep is like death when it's good

How do you define death. It is the ending of a heartbeat looking it up. Eternal blackness just from my viewpoint, no one knows about what exactly happens after death but their are so many religious groups that want you to know. Lol.
Hell. Yeah I drink and use drugs within reason but have had enough experiences in life that it will be ok. Suicide an educated guess would be hard as I have tried in my past so many times but then, IT IS NOT YOUR TIME.
Doesn't mean I am holy or that died and came back which I did, OD on a heroin shot by "the doctor" when dumb which is why they should change drug scheduling in the States and laws.
I had like 20 seconds when he injected me way back when and was told I was put in a pool of ice with ice under my balls. Not joking. Then woke up in the morning puking something I have never puked before.
Was on meth for a year and made it like 7 or 8 days. Great orgasm but what I saw towards the end was really fucked up in a hallucinatory way. A whole party going on and it was cool. I woke my dad, I live on my own now, and told him about this party.
Went into rehab which is shit. I don't recommend rehab or the powders.
Sticking with my favorites. America once believed you can put anything in your system and it is your right! Before I suffered through 10 years in the "justice" bullshit system. All about the money. Nobody really cares.
So staying up late drinking and taking k-pins and now watching Mr. Mercades. Have an alarm clock that will wake the dead so will catch the bus to Nevada tomorrow and gamble. Car rental place was sold out which sucks. Win Lakers.
